We always enjoy staying at Harvest Inn, especially in the off-season. We stayed in the main lodge in an area called "The Loft" and it was exquisite. The food is outstanding and overall, the service is great, albeit a bit slow at times. The courtesy vehicle was never available when we needed it - I felt like the valet area was seriously understaffed. However, they were very responsive and professional. The front desk staff is a bit "reserved" -- sometimes it's hard to get their attention. Still, it's one of our favorite places to stay and we will continue to do so when we visit St. Helena.

My friends and I arrived in the evening and Drew greeted us, then helped us find a place to walk to dinner. He was very helpful.
The hotel room is spacious and comfortable. We like the real wood burning fireplace and the breakfast is great!
We have stayed at this hotel a few times for a girls weekend and plan to do so next time.

This hotel was more than what we expected. We expected the typical hotel room but when we walked in...it was great. It had all the comforts of home and was exceptionally clean. The location was good with many things to do at the hotel. If you wanted something a bit more lively they had free shuttles to many different places.
We plan to go there again in the future.

"Great location! short drive into town and vineyard"
Front desk staff not accommodating.
We were made to wait until check in time exactly, before we could check in. They made no offers of any kind, except to wait in the lobby. The bar was closed, no where to change to use the pool, and no announcement when our room was ready, kept having to go to front desk and ask over and over, with a new person there each time.

In California's wine country, Sonoma revives the senses with spas, wine tasting, top-rated restaurants, and scenic countryside. Vineyards on rolling hills literally sparkle with silver streamers designed to deter birds. Historic sites from the 1800s include Lachryma Montis, the 20-acre estate of General Mariano Guadalupe Vallejo, and the Sonoma Mission, on downtown's charming eight-acre plaza.
