Really good facilities and communal areas. Choice at breakfast was good and staff helpful and friendly. The only thing that lets this hotel down is the tiredness of the rooms. The bathroom tiles have been painted and the shower is over the bath that fills with water. The bed was massive and really comfortable street noise was a bit of an issue at times but on the whole it was a pleasant experience and I would stay again. It's a shame there is no bar area at night but there is no shortage of bars in sitges so they probably don't need one. Because the communal areas are so nice and the rooms comfortable I would recommend this hotel.

"Very handy for the beach and good views on offer 3"
We come here every year for a 3 night stay. Staff very friendly and helpful and the rooms are modern and clean. Great bar and drinks too. Good views available from floor 3 upwards. The only criticism would be the breakfast. Not the food as this is excellent but there is always some confusion if you want to book and pay as you go for breakfast. Some days we miss breakfast as we want a lie in and the finish time is 10.30am so we would like to be able to pay as we go. The confusion is that it is cheaper if you prebook the breakfast at reception than if you just show up and give your room number. Its about 19euros each if you do that which I think is expensive. So, one set price for breakfast would be better. Otherwise, no complaints.

Very nice hotel. Incredible staff! Good breakfast, lunch menu a bit limited, but great fish. Dinner too expensive, extremely small portions. A quiet oasis high above the super busy town of Sitges. Pool area fantastic, rooms great and clean. One issue is transportation: they have a shuttle to the Terramar beach (not really exciting) that only starts at 11 am, is often too full, so you have to wait, and has a two hour break from about 2:30 pm. They don't have a shuttle to the town center, so you spend a lot of money on cabs. Other than that the Dolce deserves its five stars

Good hotel with roof top terrance for views across Sitges. Rooms on the back are comfortable and much quieter - something to consider when one of the many events (including music) in Sitges is in progress. Revamped small pool area at the back of the hotel pleasant enough. The Patajador is one of the few hotels in Sitges offering breakfast. Front desk staff always helpful. Room always cleaned, even when we did not go out till the afternoon. The beachfront location close to all shops is great. Its no surprise this hotel books up well in advance.

Hotel looks lovely in pictures, however room decor is tatty, the decking round the pool is tatty, carpets are dirty, very few poolside loungers and what does exist are tatty with no cushions.
On a plus side in quiet location, close to beach and not far to the bars. Food is ok and based on local dishes mostly. Chips always greasy avoid.
Staff friendly and helpful.

Stayed for 3 lovely days. Could not find fault with anything. Good location near with beach over the road. Our room looked over the marina and lots of restaurants to choose from there. Quiet hotel at night. Nice pool area and not too busy. Pleasant walk to Sitges along the coastal path. Rooms were comfortable and in good decoration and clean. Breakfast had variety. Staff on reception were very friendly and helpful. Lots of art all over the hotel and wonderful lobby with water feature and glass lift.

Barcelona’s weekend seaside retreat, trendy Sitges was originally colonised by artists and intellectuals and is now a very popular gay destination. It may be the Costa Dorada’s most sophisticated resort but it has maintained its local identity and the Old Town has considerable charm. Sitges also boasts lovely sandy beaches, very good restaurants, a vibrant nightlife and chic boutiques. Visit in February for the riotous Sitges Carnival.
