I liked this hotel and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Centrally located, I parked my car in the free and ample parking lot and left it there, not needing to walk more than three blocks to any place I needed to visit. Check-in was fast and pleasant. The room, if smallish, was very clean and in an excellent condition. It had all the amenities you might ask for — queen size bed, side table and lamp, table and chairs, dresser, TV, microwave oven, coffee pot, free wi-fi. Ready hot water in the shower, good water pressure and an adjustable shower head.

One night stay, we were catching the ferry the next day. Located within a block of the Victoria ferry. Great location for walking around town, we borrowed the hotel bikes the next morning and road out to the break water, easy 40 minute ride beautiful view.

Truly a gem. We booked two nights here in the Marie Antoinette Room. It was BETTER than we expected, and we expected a lot.
As we arrived, we walked through their lovely front yard. Would love to see this when it's in bloom. Wow! The house is very pretty and has the traditional B&B feel. We were greeted before we opened the front door. We were ushered in, given a tour and shown to our room. It is very pretty inside and comfortable. The downstairs main room has couches, large table, coffee/tea station and a lot of amenities such as movies, cookies, and other sweet treats.
We toured the other rooms and all have great qualities. Any would be fine for a couple. Our room was spacious and has a very large spa tub. We absolutely used it and it was great after a long, cold day at the beach. Lots of fluffy towels too. The bed was comfortable. The rooms have huge windows, all of them facing the water and the back yard. There are two comfortable chairs to sit in and view nature. The owners offer binoculars in the room that you can take with you on day trips. We did! There is also a guest amenities cabinet with all the little things you may have left at home, and more. Nice touch!
In the morning we had delicious, full breakfasts. They were willing to accommodate food sensitivies and allergies, though we don't have to worry about that.
The biggest issue here was that we did not book enough days. Wish we'd stayed a week!
