The most wonderful bed...and the bathroom is delicious, with an enormous deep soaking tub and double vanity sinks. I always stay at The Mark when I need to be located uptown. It feels more like a condo than a hotel, because the staff knows everyone.

"Perfectly situated hotel"
I stayed here while attending a conference at Columbia. It was a quick 10 subway ride to the university. Going the opposite direction, it was a 10 minute ride to Times Square. The location is loaded with restaurants, shops, and Central Park is just a few blocks away.

"We Love Lucerne!"
We wanted to be in a central spot close to the city sights. Lucerne's location was great, as it was very close to the subway and within walking distance to restaurants and cafes. We felt very safe. The neighbourhood is nice and quiet, with still enough happening around, giving it that city feeling. It was nice having Central Park nearby.

Such a lovely spot to escape the hectic pace of the city. I love the neighborhood and the guest rooms/bathrooms and the roof deck. Wonderful doormen. Excellent a/c. Great housekeeping standards.

Staff are great helpful and friendly. Have a nice continental breakfast, a wine and cheese time, and coffee and tea are available round the clock. Is an older hotel and rooms are very small. Bed was very comfortable. I have stayed here multiple times.

"Fabulous hotel, great location"
We were sceptical before we went as we had read so many poor reviews so we paid to upgrade our room. We had a faultless experience and couldn't have enjoyed the time in NYC more. The hotel was perfect for our needs and I think others' criticisms were very picky about minor things that do not affect your overall experience. Our room was much larger than we expected having heard so much about tiny New York rooms. A very comfortable bed. Staff were always cheerful and polite. Roof top bar is incredible with amazing cocktails. Absolutely wonderful.

"Great location"
PROS: great location 1-2min walk from subway and Central Park. Great staff - friendly and helpful. Complimentary breakfast- had variety. Rooms have the necessities and were clean. Cable. Reasonably priced if you book in advance. CONS: very small hotel. Breakfast hall is crowded due to small space. Slow, single elevator for 14 floors. AC unit necessary to ward off humidity but really loud making it difficult to sleep. Windows face brick walls. Water not available on its own, even in breakfast hall - $2/bottle. All in all, you're not going to NYC to stay in the hotel so if it's not perfect, it's not a big deal. For the price, it was worth it.

"In the Grand Style"
Had business meetings downtown, but decided to stay here as a more peaceful retreat - so was a little out of way re business, but a great destination for leisure traveler. From the moment I walked in, I felt I had entered an upscale "private club". Checkin was quick and desk clerk escorted me to the elevator and discussed amenities. They actually have an elevator attendant who always greets you and accompanies guests to their floors. I would describe the hotel as "grand style" - a bit older, but classic. The room was larger than most in NYC. The bed and bedding was crisp and incredibly comfortable. The bathroom was large and the shower had spectacular pressure. The restaurant was spectacular and service incredible. Excellent hotel.

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Pearl River, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Pearl River hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
