The room was clean and comfortable; Staff was nice and helpful. Noise from hall/doors slamming was a nuisance; not good for those needing to sleep-in. Did not like that the entire family must dine for breakfast @ same time and that I was informed of a time-limit in the dining area. Dining area was cramped and noisy from the food prep.

Really enjoyed our stay at Highbridge Hotel. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. They have maps to help with the area and subway. The breakfast is efficient and hardy! Small fridge in room. Beds were very comfy. And, really close to the MTA 4 subway line. Would recommend!

DO BETTER..

Waaaaaay overpriced for the size of room and lack of amenities. Refrigerator but no microwave. Had to pay another $30 a day to park in their parking lot!? Ridiculous! No pool or hot tub!? Breakfast was pathetic! The whole lauout and offerings..Meh. the only hood yhing were the individually wrapped bagels. Outside area of hotel was filthy! We saw rats running by! Do better....

Got to the hotel for 1pm (well before the check in time). The rooms were being prepared but the staff allowed us to put our luggage in a back room and we were able to go to the Yankees game (10 mins walk from the hotel) The Joker steps are 150 yards away too. I asked a member of staff about walking around the neighbourhood (safety) and he advised it "looked worse than it was". I had no issues walking around the neighbourhood during the day or later at night. The rooms were very clean and the beds were excellent. The breakfast in the morning was good and I would definitely use this hotel again.
