"Hotel Staff"
All the above ratings are excellent. We have been staying at this hotel for a number of years on our way to a fishing destination. Great place to stay and the staff at the hotel are professional, accommodating, and friendly. I want to apologies for not being able to speak Spanish, so I want to thank the staff for their ability to speak English. I always feel comfortable at the Fiesta Americana, Merida. Thanks, REH

"Lovely hotel, close to the centre"
We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Azul. The hotel is beautiful and the room was very nice and peaceful and grand. The staff were very helpful and polite and attentive and we would be happy to recommend your hotel to anyone visiting Merida. You could improve some things but they are small: 1. They could put boosters in the rooms to improve internet service. We could not really use the wifi because the connection was too weak. 2. They should do something to get rid of the mosquitoes in the breakfast area because there was a lot of them. 3. Housekeeping could be improved slightly. Most good hotels change bedsheets every 3 nights, and if someone is staying 4 nights like us, then usually most hotels will change bedsheets half way through the stay. We had the same sheets all throughout the stay. I save enough water reusing my towels and bedsheets when I am at home so when I go on holiday its nice to have fresh linens

"Nice hotel, convenient location"
I chose this hotel because it didn't look like your standard hotel. It had the charm and feel of being on vacation in Mexico. The staff was friendly and most spoke some English. They gave great suggestions on where to go and what to see as first time visitors to Yucatan. There's a restaurant on the property. We ate there a few times for convenience, but also there's a Burger King a block down the street, and a Subway a block in the other direction if you want a break from Yucatecan cuisine. The pool area was nice with lots of chairs and hammocks... and an outdoor bar! You can sit at the bar and eat/drink or the staff will bring drinks to you poolside. The parking lot in the front is very small. If it fills up, there is a second parking lot behind the property, but it was difficult for us to find at first. The entrance to the rear lot is small and we thought it looked like it belonged to a different property (different paint color). One of the staff members actually walked to the back to show us we were in the right spot. Some minor cons: ~The beds are on the firm side. ~Don't let your door linger open or the pesky mosquitos will sneak in. We made it a game to find and kill them before lights out. Fear not: It was only ever a few. ~They do not supply hand towels or wash cloths, only bath towels (but nice, large ones) ~Our room key card needed to be re-activated every 24 hours We stayed 8 days and overall it was a positive experience.

"Family Reunion "
Booked Superior room king bed european plan, room was spacious, staffing keep room very clean, bed was very comfortable, air condition worked very well and keep room very cool since it was very hot and humid (104). Staff at front desk was very friendly and accommodating. Only ate breakfast at the hotel which was very good. There are different price plans for buffets and entree. Service was very good and prompt. We ordered the continental breakfast and was very pleased from the omelette bar, fresh fruit, pastries and main beeakdast entrees. Overall a very good stay. I would recommended this hotel highly.

"Peaceful place, traditions kept"
Liked the hacienda, sits in a small town very close to Merida. Don Jose, the owner took very good care of us. The meals very tasteful and the homegrown rabbit made very good and healthy dishes. A great place to be and make day tours to the very interesting historical places in the Yucatan peninsula.

Acanceh is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Acanceh, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Acanceh hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
