This is a 3 star, centrally located hotel. While the rooms are exceedingly clean, the interiors of the rooms are in desperate need of an upgrade. It's like an overnight stay at a retirement home or your elderly Aunt Hazel's house. My room was a dreary sight of pale yellow & drab green paint along with a catalogue of bad art. For some reason, the whole place just feels a little dark, even the lobby. Also, I prefer my sink in the bathroom. But that's just me. Overall, for the money, it's not a bad deal. It is very clean & mostly functional minus any sense of beauty or romance. The best asset, is the restaurant across the street - La Prospe del Xtup. The food is there is divine! Also, the internet works. Please note, this is not a bad review. This hotel is clean, safe & the staff is very polite. The rooms are just very outdated. But the location is stellar!

We needed a cool, comfortable and calm place for an evening on the spur of the moment. This was a good place. Needs power supply next to bed for cell phone charging. Showers only turn on once you are in the tub, but hey, what's a face full of water?

Villas is in a beautiful setting; quiet, clean, with very nice, helpful staff. The price for staying there is better than reasonable.
Our only issue was that the mattress was too firm for my husband, which meant uncomfortable sleep. That issue would not prevent us from staying there again, or recommending the hotel.

Great value. Got upgraded to a junior suite. Really nice. Excellent full breakfast included in rate. Quite a bargain. Best thing of all is the courtyard restaurant. Lovely and romantic, with good food too. Would definitely stay again.

After traveling on a day that reached 101° F it was a relief to have a room with a great AC unit and fan. The room cooled down quickly and kept us comfortable throughout the night. We had a great view from our 3rd story room. The room was simple but spotless. The owner was very nice and he gave us a special tour. It looks like the owner has updated the accommodations recently and the rooms have a bright and cheerful feel. You can't expect 5 star luxury in such a remote location but to have a clean, comfortable room is always a nice surprise.
