Enjoyed a nice stay at Red Lion Inn for a wedding. Booked 3 nights but had to move rooms after night one due to change in room classification, Handicap to standard. Second room number 305 not too good, both the sink and tub did not drain very well and there was a noisy vibration from the outer wall. In addition in both rooms the refrigerator made a loud humming noise and I was forced to unplug the refrigerator in both rooms

We chose this B&B during Memorial Day weekend for its location. The home has been very nicely remodeled to make it into this B&B. The only concern we had was in the room in which we stayed the air conditioner (which we needed as it was hot and the room is in covered attic space) blew right at the head of the bed. We moved a piece of furniture to block the direct air flow and that helped but it was an annoyance that could have been avoided by changing the location of the bed to the opposite wall.
Other than this our stay was very nice. The Inn Keepers were very nice and the breakfasts were good. Location wise it is easy to get to many wineries and there are several in walking distance. There are also a couple off good eating options in Carlton and several in McMinnville (6 miles away).

Stayed at this hotel for business and was pleasantly surprised how proximate it is to restaurants, highway, etc. Staff was helpful and friendly. Front desk person suggested I join the Best Western Rewards Club; which I did. Will stay at this hotel again.

The owners took an old downtown building and totally refurbished it to keep the old charm of the building, but with all new, modern amenities. Our room, the Yamhill, had a loft feeling with the used brick interior, great breakfast items; eggs to cook, muffins, fruit, oatmeal etc. even a bottle of wine at our disposal if we choose. The bed was extremely comfortable, with a large screen TV. We were invited daily for the winetasting offers in the winetasting business down on the lower level. Safety was paramount at this hotel. Key coded entry, cameras and also an elevator. If you are into wine tasting, you won't be disappointed. If you're looking for nightlife, the town of Amity will not have it. But, this place is so close to other major towns and attractions.

Award-winning wineries dot the Yamhill County hillsides surrounding McMinnville. Visitors to downtown can peruse bookstores, galleries, and boutiques housed in historic buildings along Third Street and buy local wines at the year-round public market held each Saturday. Flight fans come to the Evergreen Aviation Museum to see Howard Hughes' Spruce Goose along with other historical aircraft.
