"Excellent Staff"
I stayed in this hotel for one night in May 2017, single room, bed and breakfast. The size of the room is large for what is labeled as a single, and very comfortable, as is the bathroom. Very good toiletries are provided – Shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and body lotion. The service at the hotel was impeccable, my compliments to the reception staff, restaurant staff, housekeeping and management !!. One can select a different pillow from the standard provided, which I found to be excellent. Breakfast was very varied and tasty, coffee was not good (too weak) , but I was provided with nescafe when I requested it, so this was not an issue. The only issue I had during my stay, which would perhaps cause me to book a different hotel next time, is the rather large gap between the screen separating the balcony of the room and that of the adjacent room and the wall, in effect enabling free access between the rooms. This really disturbed me, in particular as a woman travelling alone, as I had to have the curtains closed whenever I was in the room, and also could not sleep with the balcony door open for air and had to sleep with the air conditioning on which I usually try to avoid. I’m not sure what the reason was for building the screens this way (they are not interconnecting rooms), and I imagine it must incur additional air conditioning costs for the hotel too if there are others not leaving their balcony door open due to this reason.

"Perfectly okay."
The staff were friendly and let us check in a few hours early and check out a few hours late which meant we got to have two "additional" meals through the all inclusive package than we would not have have otherwise, which was very nice. I was disappointed by all the bars near the pools which did not serve hard alcohol, only beer and wine. I was also disappointed that all of the pools closed by 7pm, which meant there wasn't much to do after dinner. There are two coves to swim in, but they are very rocky and not sandy and there was a surcharge to use the sun beds in the coves. The restrooms and closest bars were also up a steep hill from the coves. For our room, we had a bungalow, which was nice, but there were some holes in the walls where it looked like a mirror had been hung and they were never filled in and a few other things that seemed shoddy about the room.

"Unique, friendly small hotel in Rethymnon"
We had a very enjoyable stay here in a lovely room overlooking the courtyard. Nicos the delightful owner, always ready to offer advice on places to visit, recommend shops, tavernas etc. and generally chat with guests. Breakfasts are served at your table (thank you Koula), which really gave us a good start to the day. As with any Greek town there is some street noise but with the windows closed it's not noticeable. The maze of back streets of the old town are just around the corner. We hired a car but did not use the adjacent car park at 8 euros a day, park down near the Fortezza and walk up through the back streets. This must be one of the best places to stay in this fascinating town.

"Modern hotel with lovely view of Aegean Sea"
Stayed at this hotel as solo traveller for 7 days in May 2016. Found it to be very comfortable and staff friendly and efficient. Plenty of choice for breakfast and good snacks at poolside bar for lunch. Numerous swimming pools and plenty of sunbeds always available (although it was relatively early in season). The spa was excellent and I had several massages and a facial. Steep walk to the small beach and difficult to enter/leave the sea due to stones but I managed it OK.

"A Pleasant Surprise"
I booked here last minute. I didn't know anything about Crete. The hotel is equidistant from either Chania or Heraklion. I rented a car for a week for 198 Euros. Cab fare would have been 95 E one-way. So, the hotel is a modest, family-run operation. It isn't a huge mega-hotel with bass-thumpin', pool-side discos. If that's what your're looking for, look elsewhere. Corali Beach is also inexpensive, relaxing, and family-friendly. The food ( tip: book all-inclusive) was amazing. I thoroughly enjoyed the variety and the flavors. The portions were generous. There was free beer, free red wine and free ouzo for the grown-ups, and free ice cream for the kiddies. Corali Beach is directly on the beach, just seven steps down from the terrace. The beach long, not very broad; and the water was clear and clean. Hotel guests can enjoy chaise lounge beach chairs and umbrellas at no extra cost. When I checked out, the owner gave me a present! I was humbled. A bottle of extra virgin olive oil produced on his family farm. The same farm, I learned, also produces the aforementioned red wine and ouzo. I thoroughly liked this place. The staff speak German and English in addition to their native Greek.

"clean comfy hotel, top staff, all facilities"
We stayed at Kriti Beach for a week to spend our honeymoon. We couldn't have chosen a better destination and hotel. We were very impressed with the staff who are very nice and professional. The breakfast buffet was superb. Plus you get all the facilities you can ever need: outdoor swimming pool and indoor spa/pool, massage, gym, wifi working everywhere, fridge and safebox in the room, private balcony, quick access to beach with free sunbeds and towels. You can even order drinks from the beach. The hotel is not far from the town center and there are many supermarkets, travel agencies, restaurants, pubs and shops nearby. I think this hotel is perfect for couples and grown-up friends, not for families with kids though. Rethymnon is a lovely destination as well as Chania. Heraklion not so much and its airport is very chaotic though.

Lavris is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Lavris, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Lavris hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
