The staff was incredibly kind. From the front desk staff to the valet .

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Location was good. Room was clean. Breakfast was just enough to start the day, tea or coffee, juice, pastries, fruit and yogurt.

The swimming pool had a lot of sunscreen on the surface and I wonder how many drunk patrons pee in it? It must be difficult to keep a rooftop pool clean but …. The music around the 5 o’clock bar should fit the Jimmy Buffet theme - no rap or hip hop ! The valet service was good although space is a bit limited so service can get delayed during busy times. Overall , the hotel was great !

Enjoyed our stay at El Cordova! A little bit of Europe in the heart of Coronado. Suite was very accommodating and location terrific!

We were under the impression that the whole property was recently renovated so we expected great comfort. The shower only had one wall dividing the outside and inside, and no door or curtain to close, therefore, water got out every time we showered. The pillows were awful and the place was not the cleanest. Hair and a strangers bottle cap on the floor (the day we checked into the room). You are not allowed to smoke anywhere on the property or near. You'd have to walk down the block for a smoke. No microwave. Not family friendly. They have a restaurant that accommodates mostly adults. Staff is ok but not great hospitality. Housekeeping forgot to leave soap or take out trash even though we requested it beforehand. We stayed for 4 nights as a family of 4. We thought it was going to be an upscale hotel because they claim to be over 4 stars. It was definitely not. We will not stay here again nor recommend.

I got this hotel at a very last minute and To be honest, when I saw it from out side it looks old and small and I thought Iwas going to smell like a old building. My surprised it's amazing, love the style and all the details. Very cozy, clean and the staff very nice. I love the little patio in the back perfect for a coffee and relax.
