"overlook first impressions!"
First impressions should be overlooked! The inside is well worth a look. Staff are really helpful, booked and recommended trains, restaurants, and a water taxi. Rooms are very clean and roomy, sound proofing is very good. Bathroom was also clean. Outside pool area is clean, and well worth a few minutes to relax!

"Lovely hotel with limited facilities in the rooms"
The hotel is beautiful, spotlessly clean and well located with a stunning pool area. The breakfasts are plentiful with lots of choice. The evening meal is well cooked and presented. It is relatively expensive so it was a little odd that my fish came with courgettes but no potato/rice dish when the starter was quite large and the dessert was as you would expect. My stay was only slightly marred by the inefficiency of the reception staff. At the second time of asking they produced a tv remote...but it didn't work. After closer inspection I'm not sure there were any English channels; I would at least have expected a news channel. My coffee maker never arrived. It is offered in the hotel details but two requests produced nothing. We asked for a taxi at 7.30am and one came shortly after we reminded them we had asked. Slightly unusually I had a lake view with an opening window which opened onto the next door room's balcony. Luckily next door didn't seem to use the balcony as I'm sure they wouldn't have wanted my head popping out of the window.

"Perfect"
We picked this hotel for our honeymoon. Gorgeous clean hotel, helpful friendly staff. Absolutely loved the rooftop pool, lovely and warm and beautiful views across the lake. Even though it's between the towns of sirmione and desenzano we walked into the towns, hired bikes from the hotel or jumped on the buses and boats. Free wifi in the hotel and free use of sauna and Turkish bath. The only downside I would say was they don't do food in the evenings so you have to go out for food but we just wandered around until we came to restaurants (and there are a few close by) and can't say we had a bad meal.

"Nice hotel right next to the thermal spa"
Driving to the hotel is quite an experience in itself as you are actually driving right through very small roads that almost seem to be only for pedestrians! Parking is not right at the hotel however and you still need to walk a little while but at least you can drop your luggage right at the hotel. Old town Sirmione is absolutely gorgeous and I would recommend going to the ruins and the thermal spa.

"Sirmione stay"
We spent four nights at this family run hotel. If the hotel lacked anything it certainly made up for in the warmth & hospitality of the staff. The view from our room was simply breathtaking. The room was a little on the small side, but was spotlessly clean. The breakfasts were better than average for a Continental Breakfast, which we don't usually enjoy. The hotel is some distance from the historical centre of Sirmione, but there is a very regular bus service & you can get to the castle (about 2 miles away) for just one euro.

"Convenient to Tour Lake"
This was a comfortable hotel with a very good like you. The staff was very friendly and able to speak English. We normally stay at five star hotels, but needed to have driving convenience to the Verona airport and also touring the perimeter of the lake and it's very charming towns. Note that the swimming pool while adequate is not as large as it appears in their website photos.

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Lake Garda South, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Lake Garda South hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
