Uninhabitable due to 90 degrees F temp due to broken thermostat. There is no staff on site only a call center. No one ever came to fix the problem and we were left scrambling looking for a hotel room at night in a foreign country two nights in a row. It was stressful, inconvenient and very expensive as hotels were booked. The property was dirty. Do not recommend to anyone.

Difficult access to the room. Key pad sensitive to use. Narrow spiral staircases and many doors to get to the room. Difficult with heavy bags. Three different entrances. Would have been better if they had told which entrance was best for which room. If you were unable to access door code with cell phone communication, you had to go to another hotel a few blocks away. Ventilation poor. Noisy street. Nice bakery and coffee next door. Main beds in the room comfortable but the sofa beds were marginal. Furniture well used.

We rented a 2 bedroom deluxe apartment for 3 nights in August 2026. There was an address listed on the email communication. The manager did not contact me regarding the entry code as promised so I had to email him again and was given the code. We completed a 4 day tour and were dropped off close to the given address only to find the code did not work. I called the owner but got no answer. Then we noticed a sign indicating the 2 bedroom deluxe apartments are at another location. To be fair, the email did mention this other location but having never been to Iceland I thought that was the name of the building, not the name of the street. We had to drag our suitcases for the 12 minute walk to the new addres and we were not happy. A simple email from owner alerting us to the address would have saved us a lot of trouble. The apartent was nice, the beds comfortable but we had two stained sheets and a broken shade. I did leave a message about the sheets and shade for the cleaner. Overall, It's a nice apartment in a great location. It's right next to Harry's restaurant that we enjoyed. Read the fine print, pester the owner for the needed information and you will enjoy your stay.

My husband stated this was the best hotel he’s ever stayed it! Views are spectacular, breakfast every morning was amazing, bed was very comfortable, shower was great, and the storage was plentiful. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Only issue is it was hard to find the entrance on a Sunday evening since the hotel is just the top floor of an office building and the sign is very small. We called and the staff greeted us in the parking lot to help us. Great experience, would highly recommend!

Centrally situated Easy access Clean Quiet

The hotel is totally self check-in and self check out so you don’t see a human being. We knew that ahead of time and it wasn’t a problem. The room was large. The bathroom was great. The whole hotel was very clean. It is very close to the airport so that’s why we chose it. I have to say that breakfast was a total fail. The coffee machine did not work, which is not a good thing where my husband is involved at 5:30 in the morning. The food was adequate at best, but the eggs seem to have been rotten. So bottom line good place to stay to be near the airport but very bad place to count on having breakfast.
