"Cool hotel"
We stayed 4 nights and enjoyed the location as well as the hotel amenities like the cool bar, library and cafe. Very close to Harpa and various galleries and museums. The rooms are very small, no closets and the staff is cold as most of the reviews indicate. Breakfast was included - you have a choice of the buffet at Slippbarinn or the cafe next to the lounge which has a fixed breakfast. The buffet is great for one day then try the other fixed breakfast at the cafe as it is super healthy, tasteful and includes a coffee or tea of your choice. The buffet only offers regular drip coffee. Meals and drinks are quite expensive but the cafe again has light choices and better pricing. If you are staying in Reykjavik for a long time, then venture out to other lodging choices just to get a varied experience beyond the Marina. We also did AirBNB and enjoyed those options which were very comfortable and less expensive.

"A stylish, perfectly located, great hotel!"
A fabulous place to stay. This hotel is in a perfect location, in the centre of town, yet tranquil. This is a classic hotel, but beautifully and tastefully updated. Spacious, extremely comfortable room, great bathroom. Excellent staff: they couldn't be more helpful or more courteous, excellent ambassadors for Iceland. It is expensive, but worth it! This is the only hotel I would want to stay in when visiting Reykjavik.

"Lived up to expectations"
Had 4 nights in Iceland & Kvosin was a great base. Hotel was as good as other reviewers have said. The cafe used for breakfast was excellent. We even had dinner on 2 evenings-spinach lasagne was delicious. Ling also looked good and we can recommend the cheesecake too! Our trip to the blue lagoon was better than expected. We think that this was helped by the fact we did not have any time restrictions and got there early. Also went on golden circle and views were spectacular. If we had more time we would have liked to have seen more of Iceland and experienced more thermal pools but spent our last day pottering around Reykjavik and glad we did as there were lots of interesting things to see and take in.

"Very nice, very small"
Very pretty hotel, nice furniture, great bathroom. It was also very centrally-located--it was right near all of the main tourist-y section (if you're into that). The only problem was the place was incredibly small. There's barely enough room for one person to walk on either side of the bed. The staff wasn't especially attentive. We tried calling the front desk 4 times within 20 minutes and they never picked up. Finally, we just walked downstairs to speak to them in person. They claimed they were on the phone.

"Clean, accessible and helpful"
The hotel was very easy to find and within walking distance to the main areas of interest in Reykjavik. The staff were always very friendly and helpfull. The room was a good size for a single traveller, although the closet space was tight even for me, it may be more challenging for a couple. The washroom was clean and modern and had everything you could need.

"Nice hotel but..."
Overall pleased. Great location! Space was a bit cramped in the room. No bathrobes, slippers or safe as the website suggested. Our shower head gave us a lot of trouble, kept falling down. Otherwise great experience. Clean room and friendly staff.

"Happy Stay"
Located at the center of the lively shopping and dining area, this hotel makes everything be easy and convenient. We are lucky to get the early check-in after the 8-hour long flight. The room has a very nice layout and is bigger than we thought. Overall we enjoy our stay here. But note that there may be parties on Saturday nights downstairs and it will be a bit noisy.

Icelandair Hotel Reykjavik Natura

Nautholsvegur 52, Reykjavik - Map
"Reykjavik's Hippest Place To Be . . . In 1955!"
Don't be put off by the title of this review, the Icelandair Hotel Reykjavik Natura is a very good hotel with exceptional staff. The building's cool 1950s aesthetic exterior will remind many of us of a certain age of a our post-war brand new high school or perhaps first job at a pharmaceutical head office. Part of it (one wing) is occupied by ICELANDAIR's headquarters and the back door opens to the hanger line of the Reykjavik airport (RKV) where small commercial airlines operate. One can well imagine the flight crews of yore popping into the hotel's bar when they finished their flights. When you look out the front door you can see the magnificent Perlan - a place everyone should visit when they first come to Reykjavik. It is a pleasant walk to there as is the stroll to downtown on a sunny day. The hotel provides free city bus passes for those who ask.

Reykjavik is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Reykjavik, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Reykjavik hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
