"GREAT place to stay!"
I had a great time at Grand Port Royal Hotel. First off,I got upgraded to a queen sized bed which was nice of them! Overall,I had a great stay. The catering staff of Stephanie,Onela and the rest of the girls need a raise. They fed me well. Not to mention the chef "Biggie"! Being next to the sea meant I Could see fishes swimming. Even saw a starfish for the first time! Only snag was the gym wasn't open but I jogged and skipped daily so that was no big deal. Only sad bit was checking out. Made me very very sad indeed. Will surely go back. That hotel is the spot!

"Beautiful Hotel, Safe and nice area."
Our stay was short one night before our flight back to NY, the Area is very nice, we felt safe. The host is really pleasant and she was nice all the time, even when we called asking for cabs information she was always willing to help. at the beginning we felt a little bit away from our main visit points (downtown Kingston, tuff gong studio, etc) but later we loved the idea to come back to our amazing and lovely room with terrace to rest after a long day in the city. Bob s Marley museum less than 7 min on taxi so Devon House (and ice cream) or 15 to 20 min walking, Enmanicipation Park is a little bit far away, but if you call a taxi you ll be find. please make sure negotiate with the taxi drivers, they should n t charge more than 400 Jamaican Dollar (like $4) for the trip , not for person, from the house to Bob Marley museum per example ; from Downtown Kingston to the house 800 jamaican dollar and to the airport from the house between $25 to $30 you can arrange with the driver that the house keeper suggests to pick you up if necessary. The breakfast could improve a little bit, we didnt like too much , it was just scramble eggs , but we appreciated the delicious coffee. in conclusion , we had great time in our short visit and without a doubt we would love to stay here in our next trip.

"Awesome Stay!"
I was in Jamaica for a quick in and out 1 day stay and decided on Abacus. I was sent a msg by Novelette to ensure my arrival time. Once I landed , I checked in and the apartment for spacious and immaculate. The next morning I requested a special breakfast and Novelette delivered! The food was delicious and well prepared. The neighborhood is quiet and safe and was close to my destinations. I would stay here again for my next visit to Kingston.

"Paradise Found"
My room had the most spectacular views. I experienced such serenity. I could only stay one night. I plan on going back for longer. No TVs in the room or radio. If you are looking for activities this isn't the place. If you want peace, scenic views, clean air, excellent food and five-star service, this is the place. I'm going back.

Kingston is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Kingston, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Kingston hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
