Check in went fine (very late, so I had to call before to set up with the security staff). Room was neat and clean. Area was a little loud. Beds felt like plywood over springs. Pillows felt like large cotton balls - nice and poofy, until they flattened into nothing when you laid on them. Easy check out.

Cool classic vibe, lots of memorabilia from past performers in lobby. Chill at the lounge or swim in heated pool. Complimentary continental breakfast is simple, but a great start to the day. Took my child & he loved it, too. We'll stay here again.

From the outside, the hotel looks shabby. Within the enclosures, the pool is very nice, but the Jacuzzi looks like it badly needs a fresh coat of paint. The rooms are arranged around the pool and mine was large and comfortable. But the tile around the tub was cracked and uneven and had been glued together with caulking. Bedding was good, but the rollaway couch was old and i sank too far down on it for comfortable sitting. The kitchen was well stocked and dining table nicely set. Uneven quality but worth the price I paid through Expedia.

Not worth the price, though very friendly staff, wasn't happy to be awaken by the Gardner below my window bush wacking with the electric saw, very noisy and annoying when trying to enjoy good rest and sleeping in. Maybe he should be able to start later in the day more like 12 noon. That would be a good time for everyone. Hotel guests can get their sleeps and Gardner can get his job done!

Our AC unit at home failed, it was about 117 degrees Fahrenheit. We needed a place to stay that was close to our home. The price that was offered was very reasonable. Staff was friendly.
We would recommend staying here to our friends and family.
