The hotel's location is excellent, offering a clear view of the monument from the porch. However, the hotel's cleanliness is a significant issue. The entrance doors and handles, in particular, were visibly dirty with hand marks and grease. I suggest that staff, when not assisting guests, be assigned to clean these high-contact areas regularly to improve the overall guest experience. A thorough, general cleaning is needed to make the hotel more welcoming.

It was close to Mt Rushmore. There was a dish with someone else’s food and utensils in our room, the shower curtain rod was very rusty. Tissue box almost empty. AC was very noisy.

As a Wyndham property, I would expect higher standards in cleanliness. Scuff marks, paint drips, and human fluids present on walls is a turnoff. Poor bathroom ventilation made for a mildewy odor. No counter space in the bathroom. The A/C unit was old and loud. The room had no coffee maker, but a fridge and microwave, which didn't make sense to me. They took up space in an already very small room.

Stains on comforter, full bed when they were supposed to be queens, no blow dryer and lukewarm water for shower, the tiniest hotel room we've ever been in, no safety screens on the second story window, ran out of coffee many times, breakfast area and garbage can unclean. Pool area needs a deep clean.

Nice place. I could see Mt. Rushmore from my balcony. My only complaint is the bathroom was small and hard for me to roll around in my wheelchair.

Tiny, almost throw pillows like, very soft pillows. Mattresses and bedding need to be updated. The shower seemed partially clogged and would fill with water as I tried to take a shower resulting in standing in water, eventually the water went drained but only after turning off the shower water. The AC was loud in our room. Breakfast, eggs were super watery and the coffee was cool and tasted burnt.

This property states that Mt. Rushmore is visible from the hotel, it is certainly not. Also states that it is an 18 min walk to mt Rushmore. It is actually a 1 hour and 47 min walk. Very deceiving and untrue. Room is so so, looks like years of general poor cleaning. Refrigerator is dirty, tub is either dirty or stained. Shower curtain isn’t long enough to keep water from going everywhere. Not at all what was advertised or expected.
