Great overall stay - Clean property with friendly staff, very attentive breakfast staff, a wonderful hot breakfast (biscuits, gravy, eggs, waffles, coffee). Pool was well kept and clean, and the hot tub was even better! Cons: Noise level, heard too many outside conversations through my room. Almost all hotels have this issue though. Very well priced hotel for the value you get, they even have an outdoor patio to sit by, and a fireplace/area that is open until 9 or 10pm which the staff can light for you. --For anyone new to Hill City: Most of the restaurants in town are pretty bad quality, including overpriced, low-quality foods. Average burger costs $17-20. Avoid Hill City Cafe, one of the worst food places there. "With the Wind" has decent food.
Pool was great, the hot tub was HOT! Excellent!

Dream hotel, comfortable beds, pillows, linens, immaculate room, two queen beds, great shower and bathroom facilities. Easy walk to shopping and meals; we recommend the 1885 restaurant. Easy in and out of ample parking right outside our door. Close to attractions, like Crazy Horse Monument. No complaints here. This is the type of hotel you compare others too. Great free buffet breakfast with meat, eggs, waffle makers, ant the usual carbs. Great coffee and both apple and orange juice. Ice maker with plenty of crystal clear and odorless ice. Perfect AC. Wowza!

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and actually had 4 towels in a 2Q room. Hand soap had a musky smell that would be triggering to folks with allergies. The body soap in the shower was much better. Dorm fridge didn’t have little freezer compartment. Could hear doors in hallway closing without earplugs in. Not a ton of parking spaces. Nice back patio to eat breakfast on, or to hang out on.

One of the best places we have stayed. It was a long car ride for us. Great comfortable beds and pillows. It was nice they had laundry on site. The manger Sheila was very helpful and hard working. We saw her attending to the small details and keeping everything neat and clean. Also, we appreciated they were dog friendly. Definitely will stay again.

Great location for dining and entertainment. The staff was very friendly and responsive. Outdoor common areas, especially the fire pit, are a great feature in nice weather. The beds/bedding are as comfortable as I have ever experienced.

The staff were friendly & helpful. A special shout out to Conner for outstanding customer service. The room was clean & comfortable. The breakfast had options & outdoor seating. Located along the Mickelson Trail for biking & hiking. Look forward to staying again😊
