We spent a night at The Prison. It was quite the experience. An actual prison transformed into a high end hotel. While we loved everything about the Hotel itself, we weren't crazy about our room. Actually the bathroom was the low point. It's open concept, meaning the shower is a hand held 3 or 4 ft off the ground. So you have to hold shower wand, get wet, turn off water, soap up, turn on water, rinse off, turn off shower, or everything gets wet. It is for that reason there are no spaces to put anything. No hooks, no counter tops. Nothing. Extremely minimal. I want shelves and counter tops and hooks and places to plant my stuff. The bedroom fan did not work, we had to stand on the very comfy bed to give it a push to get it going. Also very austere. I get it, its a prison. Its edgy and all in all a spectacular place to stay for one or 2 nights, but if you want to unpack and settle in, not happening. There is a pool but very few of the rooms are air conditioned. The petit dejeuner was good but minimal, the restaurant closed during our stay. There are prison cells turned into bedrooms, cool places to walk and many a reminder this was an actual prison. All really cool. We loved the artwork.

Beautiful hotel with an excellent restaurant. We enjoyed our stay a lot.

Clean room, easy check in ,beautiful swimming pool and central location. Only downside was the breakfast which was very basic

The high notes of this place is the staff. Friendly and helpful. Room was spacious but quite basic. Very well located. Quiet. Breakfast was a bit disappointing.

There really isn’t working air conditioning- either in the bedrooms or downstairs for breakfast. Hôtel was closed up just after 9pm, very remote. Lady working there was very helpful though when she was there. Room was a good size and well maintained/comfortable for a family of 4 or 5. Breakfast was good quality

Très agréable. Chambre propre, bien fait le matin. 2 minutes à pied de l'ârret de bus. Que 20 minutes à pied de Vias-Plage. Supermarché Aldi à l'arrière de l'hôtel.

Great staff. Lovely location to stroll into town.. Ample parking.

The room was quite spacious and very clean with lots of storage. The hotel was very clean and staff were helpful and friendly. It was a 15 minute walk to the beautiful beaches where there are plenty of excellent dining options.
