"Great resort in the desert"
Very nice resort with terrific mountain views not far away from Scottsdale. We previously stayed in other upscale resorts in Scottsdale but wanted a quieter location this time with mountain views. The resort staff was very friendly and let us check in early. Upgrade to mountain view rooms. Housekeeping was thorough and the rooms were impeccable. Clean pool with plenty of towels and shaded lounge chairs. Nice gym. The restaurant food was very good with great service and there were also several dining options in the nearby casino. Everything was reasonably priced. We enjoyed our stay and will return in the future.

"Reasonable price; good value."
The biggest complaint was the air conditioning. It blasted the cold air across the room and we were very cold when it finally shut off. We were just about sweating when it blasts on again. So didn't appreciate the lack of consistency. The beds and linen were fine. Nice in-room amenities.

"Great Location "
I stay here a lot as I travel to Phoenix once a month for about 5 years. I also most always stay at the 3 Palms. There is a great park with walking an bike paths minutes from your room. It is a short drive to many attractions like the Zoo, Botanical Gardens, ASU and Old Town Scottsdale. The pool is a good size and has a hot tub in that area. This is not a large hotel but serves my purpose well. There is a restaurant and lounge on sight but my favorite go to place is Dukes just a short walk away.

"Beautiful facility"
The resort is beautiful. The room was very nice and comfortable with great amenities. We checked in around 6 pm and headed straight for the pool. The water in the pool was warm, like a jacuzzi and the pool bar was not open. That was disappointing since the pool was the main reason we booked. So, we tried another pool. The water in the next pool was even hotter and again, the bar wasn't open. We took our kiddos to the pool with the slide. The slides were not operating and the bar was not open. The redemption came the next morning when we tried the pool with the slide again. Slides and the bar were open. It was just sad that we had to check out and head home. We didn't get to enjoy having a drink by the pool on the first evening. I thought that the room was great but the amount of money that I paid was a bit overboard for the lack of pool services. I did appreciate that after my Expedia check-in review, the hotel offered to extend my check-out time so we could enjoy the pool amenities, but it was too little, too late. I'm not sure I would stay here again at this price. I would have to get a smokin' deal.

"All the right pictures from all the right angles"
The images within Expedia really sold us on this place. Once we arrived we were a little disappointed. Maybe disappointed is not the right word here. We really enjoyed our stay with super friendly staff that goes out of their way to suite your needs. They even have a free shuttle that takes you around town and also picks you up to transit you back to your room. I believe this was just a case of being oversold by the images and a projection of what I would be seeing vs what I would really see. The one item that really stood strong against what was represented was the pools. This location includes 2 side-by-side pools and one includes a sandy area leading into the water. You also have pool side services including food and drink options.

"Awesome Hotel!"
This is a great place to stay. The suites are spacious. The bed linens are divine. The grounds are immaculate. Covered Parking is a plus in the Arizona heat. There are two pools, one for adults only, and one for families. We spent our time at the family pool. Clean pool deck, fun activities for kids, great background music, cute baby water spout area. It's hard to please ten people, but our entire group loved it. We will be back.

Fort McDowell is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Fort McDowell, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Fort McDowell hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
