"Nice hotel in heart of city with good restaurant"
Charming old world hotel with one of the largest rooms I have ever stayed in Italy. Although I had two excellent dinners in the hotel restaurant, I wasn't overwhelmed with their bkfst buffet.

"Wonderful staff!"
We were originally booked into another hotel and encountered a problem when we tried to check in. I booked this online and we walked to the hotel about ten minutes later. Adrean at the front desk welcome day us warmly and showed us to our room. We stayed for three nights and enjoyed out stay very much, despite the inclement weather. We felt all the staff was exceptionally friendly and always helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

"Great boutique hotel in Portofino "
Wonderful hotel in the heart of Portofino with friendly and very helpful staff. Good room facilities and a wonderful breakfast. The garden is quite small but has enough room for the number of rooms. The spa and sauna area is not particularly well laid out as you can't use the sauna and steam room if there are clients having a treatment - this however is a minor criticism for such a beautiful boutique hotel.

The hotel is in a prime location being both close to the station, the shops and major tourist attractions. The hotel offered a good breakfast buffet. The room was pleasant and had a good clean bathroom. It was quiet at night so you had a good nights sleep. All staff were pleasant and helpful.

"Close to the train station "
A little difficult to find the hotel since the reception is on the second floor. Only stairs inside the door and had to push button to gave the door opened. The room was ok. Service was ok. Didn't eat the breakfast. Hotel was close to the train station which was the main requirement. Arriving late and leaving the next morning. Was fine for that purpose.

"An upgrade. Hotel Continental to Grand Savoia."
We initially booked into the Hotel Continental in Genova and were pleased when we arrived by train, that it was little more than a 100 metre walk from the station. On check in, we were advised that we were being upgraded to the Grand Hotel Savoia [next door]. The doorman from the Grand Savoia [interconnected] transferred our luggage next door for check in and to our room. While we only had a 2nd floor room to the rear of the hotel, we had a small courtyard off our room, to sit and enjoy a coffee or drink, depending on the hour of day. Restaurant, good service and meals, overall service made for an enjoyable stay. The Continental and Grand Savoia, 2 well preserved "old style" buildings, with charm and service to match. Would book either of these hotels, if in Genova again.

"Wonderful stay!"
Utilizing Expedia, I just happened to choose the right hotel for us! The view from its location is amazing, and it's at the end of the town, so making the trek to Portofino is a little bit shorter. (BTW, the bus stops at the hotel!) We had an amazing, relaxing stay here, and Valentina gave us excellent recommendations for dinner that night. (I can't recall the name, but it's behind the gas station with green rope lighting in the windows. THE BEST!) The bed was comfy, and the surroundings peaceful. I don't know if I'll be back, but I would in a heartbeat if there wasn't so much else to see in Italy! Oh, and I think it was Silvia who checked us in; her smile and wonderful greeting were terrific! Breakfast was AMAZING, too!

"Beautiful hotel! Great location!"
This hotel is truly amazing. It's beautiful from start to finish. Rooms are comfortable. We had a balcony with an amazing view. Rooms had a nice amount of space and lots of nice amenities. The views from the hotel bar and restaurant are stunning. The dinner we had there was one of the best we had in Italy. The outdoor bar area was the perfect place to unwind with a cocktail after a day of sightseeing. Comogli was our favorite stop during a 2 week stay in Italy. We were originally going to stay at this hotel for 2 nights but extended it another night. We didn't want to leave. The service was impeccable! Would highly recommend! As a side note, the staff suggested that we take a train to Santa Margherita and make the 4.2 mile "red carpet" walk to Portofino. Made for a great side trip.

Ferrada is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Ferrada, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Ferrada hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
