Plumbing and fixtures seemed quickly installed, and air conditioning and refrigerators a bit noisy, but rooms are huge, views are great, staff are very attentive and location is fabulous on the mountain. Good evening if you are not a golfer. Many hiking trials start just off the property.

We had dinner, afternoon tea in the hotel. We signed the bills but the hotel held our credits. They explained it was their policy. Obviously they don’t trust and respect guests.

Probably the nicest hotel I have ever stayed in. The Villa Ciele room 422 was amazing with a fantastic view of the valley below, ocean inlet, Downtown Victoria 30 miles away and the United States across the sound. Beautiful gardens as well surrounding the villa. The restaurant was excellent as well for Breakfast, Brunch and dinner!

Welcoming staff, Not sure the room was cleaned properly! It was visible on the couch!

We highly recommend the hotel. The rooms are spacious with high ceilings. They don't look or feel like your standard hotel room. The hotel is a 15 minute walk from the ferry terminal and in the heart of downtown. We were a few minutes walk from restaurants and shopping. If you get tired of walking around at the end of the day the bar served excellent drinks at reasonable prices. All in all we had a wonderful stay and would recommend it to anyone.

Please get some softer comfortable pillows. My sleep wasn’t the best because of the hard firm pillows.
