"Really wanted to give it five stars, but...."
...we found someone's left behind sock on the floor. I thought it was one of ours and grabbed it only to find it was not. Ewwww. The hotel staff was great EXCEPT the people working at the outdoor pool. I was there with my three children and we were the only ones even at the pool. I was approached by a young man and asked my name and room number in a way that felt like an interrogation and I wasn't welcome there. After he left, a girl came and noticed I had an "outside beverage" with me and told me it was not allowed. I'm all for hotels wanting to make their money with overpriced pool side food and drinks, but COME ON. I told her I wouldn't drink it anymore but refused to throw it away and she watched me like a hawk the rest of my time at the pool. My kids were hungry (and I was thirsty) so we had to go back to our room just to eat and drink. I've stayed at the Grand across the street four times and thought I'd give Little America a try but after this, I don't know if me and my soda are even welcome. I liked the grounds (we had a garden view room) and location of our room, but the walls were pretty thin. The people in the room next to us kept yelling at each other and had their television on so loud I had to play music just so my kids could fall asleep. It was 11pm. The hallway was also VERY loud. You could hear every word people were saying to each other. During the day I wouldn't have cared, but at 10, 11 and 12pm, it's a nuisance.

"Good Stay"
There was one concern I had: I didn't feel safe in the shower/tub. I am 72 and in very good physical shape, but the tub was slippery (normal) and there were no grab bars. The room was quiet and lovely and had nice amenities like microwave, refrigerator and coffee maker.

It's a nice place if money has little meaning. The fees are way high and it seems like they charge extra for everything.

"Clean but no pet-free rooms, check your receipt"
We appreciated having a room with a full kitchen and nice layout, although we didn't use it much for a one-night stay. Things were pretty clean, although people with allergies/asthma should be aware that "pet friendly" for this facility means that EVERY room is accessible to animals; there are none set aside as "pet free." The staff places an ionizer machine in the room and considers it clean and "non allergic". We were not aware of this until we checked in. My family had some sneezing but were okay overall. Be sure to look carefully at your receipts. Upon check-in, this establishment will not show nor tell you how much you are being charged. They say "wait until check-out". Upon check-out, their receipt still did not indicate an amount. I had to wait at the desk for someone to come and figure out how to print me a REAL receipt showing what was charged to my credit card. This system seems like there is room for potential abuse if people don't watch carefully; however, we were charged the correct amount based on our expedia reservations.

Farmington is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Farmington, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Farmington hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
