"Quick but pleasant stay!"
The room was clean and the beds were comfortable but what shined at this hotel were the staff! The night I arrived I realized I had driven almost 200 miles without my wallet and didn't have my credit card with me to pay for the room. They asked me key questions about my reservation and then ran my card that I had booked the room with. Then after checking out and arriving home I realized I had forgotten a sweater in the room. I called them and they shipped it back to me that same day. My forgetfulness made complications which the staff were eager and easily able to remedy!

The hotel was clean, beds were comfortable and the included breakfast was very good. Good value for the price. Only concern was that the room was a little small.

"The looks we're ok and location is great, however!"
Looks nice and clean but you can tell it's an old hotel that was renovated, there was a odd smell in the lobby and hallways something between cleaning products and a sour smell. The place looks clean, but there was the smell that was a little bit disconcerting, the rooms aren't too small and were clean except for an old candy wrapper under the edge of the bed from a former guest? My wife and daughter thought the beds would be fun and comfy because they were "bouncy" (hey therae's a kid in all of us) however after the first night we were all miserable and tired because of the beds, two days later and I still hurt a lot and so does my wife, our daughters body is more resilient so she doesn't hurt anymore, but me, well it'll take a couple days for my back to recover from those beds, and it'll take a few days to catch up on two nights of very little and very painful sleep But I would use this hotel again just because it's location is central to everything we wanted or needed which was only a block or two away, plus there were places we didn't expect to be so close to the hotel so we did have a good time going exploring and shopping at stores and places to eat that we don't have at home which it was great to shop and eat at new places so close to the hotel, so if the beds hadn't been so bad we would have had an even better and much funnier weekend.... Overall not too bad except for the beds

"Close to where we wanted to be"
The facility was clean. Room was comfortable and clean. The pool was closed for maintenance on the one night that we wanted to use it but had been open on the other nights of our stay. We were allowed to use the pool at a neighboring motel but that was not as convininet as it would have been if the pool had been open. Breakfast was good and there was a variety of things to choose from.

"nice amenities"
I understand you're going through a renovation soon which is good because the carpet needs to be replaced throughout the hotel and some of the flooring underneath. Also, the edges of the carpet in the hallways was gross. The room was fairly clean except the toilet had a little urine down where the bolts are. The carpet in my room was alo really old and worn out. I liked the punch and water at the entrance. The front desk clerks were nice but I had two rooms and for some reason the message didn't get passed on to use the same credit card for incidentals so my coworker got locked out of her room because she didn't have a card for incidentals, which wasn't a huge deal but it still didn't get resolved until the third day.

Layton is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Layton, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Layton hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
