Wonderful, helpful staff. Great location for cruise port & several restaurants with fresh seafoid.

It was a real pleasure to discover this new hotel. The staff was wonderful! Shout out to the amazing front desk crew and breakfast staff, Erica, Ashley, Warney and Daniela. They made us feel welcome and were always ready to fulfill any request, make suggestions on places to visit, or arrange transportation. We stayed in a beautiful suite that was spacious, charming and honored the palatial history of the property, while accommodating the private art collection. The only slight negative is that is a little far away from some of the sites of Porto if you are traveling on foot. The terrace overlooking the River was beautiful and made a lovely setting for breakfast each morning!

Everything was great. The location is just perfect. The only issue was that the air conditioning units had all black mold inside and on the fins that caused a moldy smell in the room. I was able to clean the fins but not inside the units.

Great location. Except for the fact there is a massive building project on the adjoining wall. It would have been nice to know that before booking. As at 0800 the Roto Hammer’s start a massive concert is n jackhammering noises. And this project will be ongoing for some time. If this would have been known before hand? I wouldn’t have booked. As I spent a lifetime in construction and wanted to leave the noise behind me. In affection, the A/c is more of a suggestion as it wouldn’t cool the room off as it should. I also ended up having to empty the water collection for the a/c 3 times. If not? There would have been gallons of water spilled on the floor. This was not disclosed about having to preform preventative maintenance. Check in? Was after 1500, not by much, but then they are strict about Che k out time they should be as strict about check in time. For the price? The value just wasn’t there.

The hotel is by the river in a very central part of town. It's busy with lots of tourists as we expected. The view from our room was fantastic.

Location was Great. The room is located on the second floor ( the elevator was available from the upper floor) nobody was disclosing that the stairs on the building is steep and dangerous. I have a bad back.
