For a very rural area, this is a nice inn... room was clean, room was spacious, and it was nice to have a coffee pot, refrigerator and microwave... however, only one person at front desk... could not reach anyone for a wake-up call or questions... when I walked to reception desk, found he was on a call booking someone... no one else to answer the phone... also, if restaurant hours are until 9:00 pm, no one should have to call to make sure that they will in fact be open. Still, for the price, it was a good stay - quiet, clean and comfortable.

We booked this room at the last minute as a stopover stay for a weekend away to go to Fryeburg Fair and do some leaf peeping in the mountains. It is a fair distance from Fryeburg, but we loved the secluded location it was in. We didn't realize that it included kitchen facilities as well. We didn't really need those for this trip but good to know for future reference. It would be a great place to stay for a longer period of time for hiking, snowmobiling, etc. Just know that the Aspen style room has a Murphy bed (double size) and a sofa bed. That worked fine for us, but if you are looking for queen or king size bed, this style of room does not have that.
There was a floor above our room that was extremely squeaky. It was okay the evening we arrived since the occupant stopped walking around at a decent hour, but they got up really early the next morning and started walking around. That woke us up earlier than we had planned. We mentioned it to the front desk staff and were told they plan to do some renovations to the property beginning in January 2016.

We enjoyed our time at Nordic Village. The location is attractions and stores is great, as well as the options available on the property itself. The pools/spas were great.
The facilities are privately owned, so I am assuming the interiors will vary based on the owner(s). Our room was clean enough, though the furnishings were dated (i.e. their use and real cleanliness is debatable). The sofa bed was a very poor sleep.
The only thing to consider is the amenities listed on the site were not all available in our room. There are various room options; it appears not all amenities are available in all rooms so be sure to read the full details under each room.

Stayed here one night for a quick trip to Freeport. It is conveniently located near downtown Freeport (a short drive away). The hotel staff was very friendly on check-in; they had chocolate chip cookies at the front desk; the room was clean and adequate; bed was comfortable; and the complimentary breakfast was the bomb! Very good, lots to offer, not your typical measly complimentary breakfast. I would recommend staying here.
