We booked this room at the last minute as a stopover stay for a weekend away to go to Fryeburg Fair and do some leaf peeping in the mountains. It is a fair distance from Fryeburg, but we loved the secluded location it was in. We didn't realize that it included kitchen facilities as well. We didn't really need those for this trip but good to know for future reference. It would be a great place to stay for a longer period of time for hiking, snowmobiling, etc. Just know that the Aspen style room has a Murphy bed (double size) and a sofa bed. That worked fine for us, but if you are looking for queen or king size bed, this style of room does not have that.
There was a floor above our room that was extremely squeaky. It was okay the evening we arrived since the occupant stopped walking around at a decent hour, but they got up really early the next morning and started walking around. That woke us up earlier than we had planned. We mentioned it to the front desk staff and were told they plan to do some renovations to the property beginning in January 2016.

My family and I shared two adjoining king rooms with beautiful views of the mountains. The staff was super friendly and this contributed to the joy of our stay. Smiling staff were eager to help and very family and teenager friendly. We go once every winter and it is a wonderful family tradition!
