"A little gem!"
If you are looking for comfort, luxury, peace and quiet, then look no further. Calendar cottage is a beautiful cottage set in a small village in Somerset. Annie and Mike who run this 4* B&B are extremely welcoming and friendly. It has everything you need for a relaxing get away from a very comfortable lounge with a superb log fire to luxury cozy good sized en-suite bedrooms which are of the highest quality, having everything you need. If there should be something you want, both Annie and Mike go out there way to get it! Breakfast time is a real treat! Plenty of cereals and yogurts to choose from as well as a superb hot cooked breakfast with all ingredients sourced locally (their own hens (the girls) provide the eggs). This is the best B&B we've ever stayed in. Highly recommended. Thank you Annie and Mike for making our stay with you enjoyable. We will be returning again in the summer.

"Hotel under new ownership and working out problems"
This hotel is under brand new ownership so please keep in mind they are working to improve. Firstly, we booked this hotel because of the very cheap rate of $67/night Canadian. The first room we had wasn't even worth half of that because the heat was unbearable and the TV didn't work and no wifi. After several calls they decided to move us to the George suite. This room was lovely and had a nice jacuzzi tub, great TV, etc. We were very happy with this room, however, would not have paid the price of 160 pounds per night. Breakfast was included and it was great....both hot and cold full breakfast was available. The staff were very nice and helpful. This is not an accessible hotel. Many, many steps up and down all over the hotel. Taxi service in this area is limited, so make sure you book in advance. There is a wonderful Indian restaurant right across the street which I highly recommend which is called Bengal Raj. There is a pub on the main level and the food is very good. There is a supermarket called Lidl for all of your needs very close by. Many quaint little shops around this hotel.

Watermeadow Lakes and Lodges

"Lovely Kingfisher Lodge and very accommodating!"
Only stayed at the Kingfisher lodge for one night whilst we travelled 3 hours to Weymouth Dorset to meet family and decided to book a lodge away from Weymouth due to the high priced standard travelodges and premier inns just because of their distance from the beach. Wife decided to book this excellent lodge for some rest and relaxation and it was a very great surprise and difference that we are used too but something I would do again and for longer! Daughter loved the horses right outside of our lodge and view from her window and the team were very accommodating to provide us a baby crib and bath tub. There is a fishing lake opposite which you can rent the rods for but I wish I had more time to stay so I could give it a try. Tea bags, coffee, milk and cookies where a welcome treat so no need to bring your own! Instructions to get to the area are very easy and the village is very very quiet! A plus was that because we only arrived at 9pm on saturday night and check out was 10am, I asked whether it would be possible to do a late check out and because there was no one turning up on Sunday, they let us leave when we were ready which was fantastic as it let us give our daughter more time to run back and forth to the horses while we took our time to pack - Thanks!

"friendly and cosy old inn"
Very friendly and cosy old inn. Staff extremely welcoming and helpful. Our room was rather cramped, especially the bathroom, and we had problems operating the electric shower. The breakfast was very good.

Crewkerne is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Crewkerne, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Crewkerne hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
