Nice for an overnight stay. Clean and good price

Rooms comfortable and clean. Double bed felt small but even then the quilt only just covered it, but generally the room was good. It was clean and in good condition but was a little chilly. The aircon just seemed to do it's own thing! It was rainjng and much chillier than of late so I set the temperature to the maximum setting but it was still only luke warm and then the aircon started blowing out cold air. No way was the room warm enough for the system to decide it needed cooling down. The bar in the evening was good but suffered from a lack of seating at one point. But you could get served pretty quickly and the drinks are not overpriced. The restaurant in the morning was very busy with not enough seating and the hot food ran out quickly. Having said that, the two or three staff on duty worked hard and did a first class job under very difficult circumstances. Parking was easy and it's very easy to get to from the motorway. There is a pub opposite the hotel which is reasonable for a drink and an excellent pub for dinner within about 15 minutes walk over a foot bridge.

It was very modern and up to date. Easy access to the rooms. The bar area was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was also very good. Parking facilities was excellent, and lots of them. Staff were friendly and approachable. A very comfortable stay.

Very convenient for M5 and Taunton itself. Great parking. Hotel was quiet. Good basic food in evening and for breakfast. Buffet breakfast dishes replenished regularly. Room was fine, just a few niggles.....only one tea bag which seemed a bit mean - I am sure I could have requested more from the front desk! Bathroom a little tired but adequate.

One night stop in Taunton

Efficient check-in, good room and, accepting that this was an Holiday Inn Express with a limited evening food menu, the food we chose was exactly what we needed after a long tiring day. The only slight complaint was that the selection of fruit supplied at breakfast was very limited. Would we stay here again? Certainly!
