Most of the staff was extremely supportive and nice. The waiters at the restaurant/beach, Aldo, Emilio, Manuel, among others whose name I cannnot remember where the highlight of my stay. One of the managers, Gloria was very rude, telling me on a few occasions that I was not allowed to bring food to my room from the restaurant, when the other employees, including the “captain” at the main restaurant physically handed us a to go plate to take back to our room after dinner. Gloria always had an attitude and was very rude when asking questions. Saying she was going to report the incident that we were taking food back to our room. There were a couple of issues with the property. There were a lot of ants in our room, to the point where they got on the bed. The water pressure on the bathroom was very poor, the AC did not work properly, there were cracks on every surface, the cleaning crew were not leaving towels in our room every time they came to clean. The beach was okay. There was a lot of dirt everywhere, which honestly is a failing on the guests. A lot of cigarette butts all over the beach and the smell of it was extremely unpleasant considering it was right next to the beach and on the sand. The food was also extremely mediocre. On my previous stays at all inclusive resorts I was always blown away by the food and their flavors, on this occasion it wasn’t anything special and I was not excited to eat until I went to the center where I actually had great food.
