"Average"
The actual hotel is average nothing spectacular vs any other hotel. The upstairs breakfeast and bar area are newer and nice. Rooms need updating a lot; very old school feel to them. Outdoor hot tub wasn't working and was very cold when we were there couldn't use till the following day. I recommend staying here if you are skiing at Killington has a good ski lodge feel but don't expect anything special like valet or anything like that

"Charming, awesome location, best staff ever"
Older hotel and datem decor, but extremely clean and nice rooms. The staff was great-sunjeev was the best host, making sure our stay was perfect, and Bob at the bar became a fast friend. Dave was the musical entertainment both nights and was great. Will definitely be back next year!

"Family weekend ski trip "
My family and I stayed at the Vermont Inn for two nights while skiing at Killington. We were given a family suite. It was great that the kids had their own beds in their own room. I loved all the sitting areas that you could hang out and read in. The made to order breakfast and pastries were amazing. I loved all the cut fresh fruit. My family loved the hot tub and sauna after a full day of skiing. We are definitely looking forward to staying here again on our next trip to Killington.

"Prime location, decent accommodations & worth it."
I was so worried about what we would walk into based on many of the reviews. So pleasantly surprised with unit E11. Its nothing flashy or upscale but very roomy, comfortable and had a great view. Perfectly fine accommodations at the right price for my family. We did not go back to the car until we left for home after our 3 night stay. Everything was clean, we had 4 people comfortable in this 1 BR unit and a full kitchen. The fireplace was great and free firewood right there for you made it so easy to relax at night. We visited Maya Papaya each day for basic items, beer/wine, breakfast sandwiches, yummy coffee and take out for dinner. All was good and we are picky eaters. The prices were reasonable as well. Ski equipment rentals in the building and pool/hot tub were also used and appreciated. The location cant be beat unless you want to spend 500+/night at the grand hotel. At Mountain Green you are just a short walk down the hill to the snowshed base - no need to even cross the street or you can wait for the shuttle. The tubing park is right next to the resort for fun after ski. So glad we found this spot and look forward to returning next yr, hopefully for a longer stay.

"Beautiful Inn"
The Inn is very nice and a good place to relax. Not much to do if you don't ski or snowshoe. A few stores and art galleries were open. Ate at a few nice restaurants in town. Most of the restaurants in nearby Killington don't open until 3:00 pm to accommodate the ski crowd. There is a shuttle from the Inn to an athletic facility if you want to exercise. Overall, the Woodstock Inn is a great place to visit.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
