The elevator doesn’t work and my husband was trapped in it as soon as we arrived. The gym was unusable as it was under water. There is nothing close by in terms of groceries, the Walmart is closest but would be a 25 minute walk and do not recommend it. The appliances worked but all the cupboards smelled strong like vinegar. The safe didn’t work and the door code didn’t work and when we locked the door it still banged around because it didn’t fit properly. The pool was nothing special at all. The place was large, nice bedding, tons of towels, but overall not worth it. We were happy to check out. I wouldn’t stay here again.

You get a beautiful view from almost all locations. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. I didn't eat at all of the restaurants but the pizza at Il Forno was good. As were the drinks! I would have liked to see a few Mexican options on the menu, but, I could have ventured around the property to a different restaurant if it was really an issue. It was low season, but they seemed fully staffed and everything was open. The only comment I have is that I waited over an hour for help with my luggage on check out, despite making several calls. I had given myself plenty of time for the airport, but that could have been an issue for someone on a tighter schedule.

We booked the 2 bedroom suite with ocean view. Unfortunately there’s construction blocking the gorgeous view. It can initially be seen in their lobby. We couldn’t enjoy the balcony and plunge pool. The staff was accommodating enough to change our rooms but it was still the same view. Their rooftop pool will eventually have a building blocking their view depending on how high it’ll get built. Aside from that, the resort is very nice and the staff are very friendly!

At check in they were trying to give me a king bed even though I booked two queens traveling with a friend. The rate was a deluxe ocean which should say mostly pool view and partial ocean. Then the room flooded late at night from the rain and was in puddles all over the entire floor and on our beds. They tried to push back on finding a room and gave me a room with a worse view. They told me to speak with the manager on compensation and when I did she said she had no notes and wouldn’t do anything. We heard other people on site got moved to better rooms. After a lengthy discussion she offered $75 on a place we spent over $2K at for 3 nights. Starbucks on property is an upcharge, drinks beyond well are as well. Food was marginal at best. I would not recommend this property. The service staff on site who helped us move were lovely and the massage was good.
