The hotel itself was nice. The staff on the other hand was horrible. Upon arrival the bellhop got into altercation with our cab driver. It was brutal exchange of words with the cab doors slamming open and shut multiple times all in front of my granddaughter. Completely unacceptable. I had paid $75 for early check in and did not get to check in until 4. The desk clerk said that are room was not available but if I would agree to a different room I could have it then and he would give it to me cheaper so I agreed. Once I agreed and signed for the upgraded room, he then told me it wouldn’t be ready until 4. He then charged my credit card my original room charge plus $100 a night more for the upgrade. Management refused to anything about it. I will never stay here again. I have always stayed at the New Yorker and will go be to them from now on.

I wouldn't stay anywhere else in New York! The location is perfect since I can easily walk to the theater, but don't have to stay in Times Square. (Love the theater; don't love navigating Times Square.) On this trip, special shoutout to Stacy, who greeted me and my daughter so cordially when we arrived late Sunday evening (Oct. 11th) and then the next day helped us with a logistical problem. Can't wait to visit again.

Location is incredible - right in the heart of Times Square. Nice lobby, helpful staff, and rooms were very clean! Bed was comfy (linens could be softer - but I’m spoiled and prefer bamboo linens). We did as for additional pillows (which arrived very quickly) as there were only 2 on the bed. Shower was stocked with shampoo, conditioner and body soap and counter had hand soap and lotion dispenser. Safe in room and mini fridge as well as coffee maker. Will DEF stay here again.

**Disappointing Stay – Poor Maintenance and Lack of Customer Service** For the price, I expected much better. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing from check-in to checkout. Upon arrival, we found a stain on the bed, a bathtub that barely drained, an unstable bathroom shelf, and a smoke detector that beeped constantly throughout our stay. I documented the issues and brought them to management's attention, yet none were addressed before we checked out. To make matters worse, housekeeping is an additional charge, but the property doesn't provide basic cleaning supplies for guests to maintain the space themselves. While I understand that maintenance issues can arise, what I find unacceptable is the complete lack of effort to resolve them once reported. At this price point, guests should expect a clean, safe, and properly maintained unit is the opposite of what I received.

My room had great views and was clean and fun.

The staff was very nice but I don’t like the parking
