This is a very nice hotel.

Book this hotel if you don't want comfort. Book this hotel if you enjoy overpaying. Book this hotel if having your expectations met sounds overrated. We arrived after a full day of travel, hoping for a cool, clean room to recover in. Instead, no air conditioning — just a fan, which management offered as the "solution." Whether the AC is broken or simply not provided isn't clear, but either way, in the middle of summer, that's a problem they didn't seem in a rush to fix. The room itself had a tired, worn look — not dirty exactly, but not what we'd call clean either. A little elbow grease and some basic upkeep would go a long way here. For the price we paid, we expected a lot more. If you're looking for comfort, cleanliness, or value, keep looking.

Lonely stay at a beautiful hotel in a convenient location..Room was lovely and staff very welcoming.. The only thing that let this hotel down was lack of vegan options at breakfastdespite me shaking prior to stay..Once i asked they found me some yogurt but would be nice to have dairy free spread so could have toast.

Cute hotel right in the center of the museum campus. I came during the heatwave of June 2026 and the per-room adjustable AC blew nice and cold through the night. Shower was big and clean, and the bed was huge and comfortable. I even had a big fridge with a freezer which was amazing. Loved my stay here and would come again

I especially want to highlight the care and dedication of the staff—one night after walking all over Berlin during a heatwave my daughter managed to lock herself out of our room and we were so exhausted we didn’t hear her knocking. The staff found her wandering in her pjs, gave her a popsicle to calm her down and got her back to our room safely, and we didn’t even know it had happened until the next morning. The hotel itself is beautiful, and in a lovely quiet area surrounded by beautiful green parks while still being in the heart of Berlin. We were there for a family vacation and being able to slip into the back door of the zoo was magical.

The Grand Hyatt Berlin is a good hotel with an excellent location, making it very convenient for exploring the city's main attractions, shopping, and restaurants. That said, I expected a more refined experience from a five-star hotel. While the property is comfortable and well maintained, the overall atmosphere and level of service did not consistently meet the standards I associate with a luxury hotel. The service was polite, but it lacked the attention to detail and personalized care that truly distinguish a five-star experience. Overall, it's a solid choice if location is your top priority, but if you're looking for exceptional luxury and outstanding service, there are other hotels in Berlin that offer a more memorable five-star experience.

Excellent location whether on foot or by car to see the sights of Berlin. Also excellent proximity to train (U-Bahn). Rooms were cleaned daily and always felt comfortable in our stay over the 10+ days. Highly recommend the SANA Berlin.
