Elbow Beach

"Excellent staff and great location."
We have stayed at the Elbow Beach hotel over 30 times through out the years. The staff, the rooms and location are some of the finest in Bermuda. If you are planning a trip there, consider spending the extra money on a premier ocean view room. There is no question that the rooms, on season, are expensive but understand with this hotel you get what you pay for. The rooms are spotless and attended to twice daily, the turndown service is a nice touch. The rooms in the main hotel remain closed and are schedule for near future renovation. However the very elegant main lobby for registration, concierge, bell desk and billiard room are at your service. As you check in you will be greeted by "Champagne Danny" with a cocktail of your choice to start you stay. Your room will be in a lanai and depending on where you are located the on property the walk to the beach is about a minute or two at the most. Once on the beach the Elbow staff will get you situated with lounge chairs and umbrella. No need to leave your chair for food and beverage the wait staff will come to you. If you tire of the beach you can hit the pool, you won't be disappointed. Should you need help with any reservations such as dinner, deep sea fishing or a tee time call or visit with Rochelle in the main lobby, without a doubt the best concierge on the island.

"A wonderful smaller and centrally located hotel "
If you are looking for something with a bit more charm than the larger resorts the Rosedon is your choice. There was nothing better than starting each of our mornings off with a breakfast cooked to order and served to us on our own patio overlooking the gorgeous gardens. The staff is so friendly they make you feel like guests in their own home. I am so glad we found this little gem to make our vacation so special.

"Sound of the waves at my door"
I enjoyed this tremendously. I was skeptical of the reviews about the decor. It's only some old bedspreads and curtains but they are clean. It didn't matter when you open the sliding door to the most beautiful setting on the beach and the sounds of the crashing waves. I could see the Parrot fish swimming in the rocks from my balcony. I found peace and wondered where on the island you could get the same for the price. I'm so glad I wasn't on a harbor-too stiffling.

"Great place to stay....."
In arriving was interrogated and accused several times of coming to have a party even though I assured the landlord no such party was going to occur. Didn't have any alcohol in hand, wasn't loud or rowdy but yet still accused several times. For some odd reason there was a big deal made because I had purchased the room for my guests using my credit for my guests who were visiting the island. She gave me a horrid time because in her view me paying for my guest was suspicious and she told me multiple times that because of this her gut tells her she should cancel my reservation (it was 9 o'clock at night). After finally getting settled in the room the stay was great until the next morning when the landlords grandson walked into the house without knocking and unannounced and asked if the airconditioner was on. (An hour before checkout) I understand that people may have had bad experiences in the past but making new visitors feel like criminals (as we were told if she feels anything fishy going on she will call the police on us) is not acceptable.

"Beautiful beaches!"
Pros and cons to every vacation! Bermuda is BEAUTIFUL, SAFE, AND CLEAN! You can't go wrong with the scenery. Our cab driver from the airport to the hotel was RUDE! Told me I needed to think before I asked questions and when I inquired which beach we just passed he said I didn't need to know since I wouldn't remember. Everyone else we encountered was nice and seemed proud of their island. When checking into the hotel they didn't orient us at all. The hotel is nice but lacks atmosphere. Their is no music at the pools or entertainment any where. Bermuda is the most EXPENSIVE island I have EVER been too. A simple lunch of burgers for 4 and 2 drinks=$265.00. Ouch. It was beautiful and glad I went but probably wouldn't go back due to cost. Cruising their would perhaps be a more affordable way to visit Bermuda because it was beautiful!

"Amazing Place!"
We loved the Newstead! The view from our balcony was beautiful and the grounds were lovely. Our suite was so comfortable and spacious with a full kitchen. We ordered food from the Zanzibar restaurant and it was very good. We used the complimentary ferry to Hamilton every day. The only thing missing was a convenience store which would have been helpful. We would definitely recommend this resort!

Bermuda is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Bermuda, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Bermuda hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
