Beautiful stay at Azura

We loved our stay at Azura! It was perfect from start to finish. Our room was beautiful with an ocean view. The bed was extremely comfortable and the amenities were superb. The staff were so kind and helpful. We ate dinner twice at Surf and it was delicious! We were celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary and couldn’t have asked for a better spot. It was a bit of a hike to the beach, but worth it. Highly recommended for a Romantic getaway!

We got upgraded thanks to my Platinum status, which significantly improved our experience. However, having a look around the property, I could tell that any other room would have provided an exceptional experience as well. The property seems to be new, clean and well maintained. We went in April which meant we were able to see whales from our patio, and we were able to walk along the long beach near the hotel. We loved this hotel so much, that we've already suggested it to our friends and family. There were a few hiccups with admin, however once brought to their attention, they were swiftly solved. If I were to improve something about the hotel, that would be the restaurant menu. It needs development, a few more options added, and a better balance of flavours/items in the current dishes. All in all, I would 100% recommend this place.

When you advertise room service I thought that meant you bring food to the room not that the guest has to go pick it up and you have no trays to carry. Then charge 17% tip and asked for more.

The loft was beautiful and clean. The view was amazing. We got to 3 of the 4 pools and all were nice. It was quite a hike down and back up from the beach. Easy to get cabs for our excursions. The kitchen was fully stocked with pots, pans, cooking utensils, bowls, plates, silverware, cups and glasses. Very convenient with laundry machine and dryer in unit. I got violently ill from either the food or ice in my drink one night. The food was overpriced and there were barely any vegetarian options. We were able to get swim diapers delivered with groceries. The bellman was super nice and helpful.

Beautiful setting, very nice room, excellent food and great service. The walk was too severe to get to the salt water pool and beach. Suggest you consider installing a lift that goes up the stairway for the older people.

We were kindly upgraded to an ocean view suite;306. It was absolutely beautiful, pastel furnishings, spacious and with a wonderful balcony. Fully equipped kitchen and gorgeous bathroom with separate loo off the lounge area. We used all four of the pools during our stay although only one appeared to be heated. For us the heated pool was quite small and right next to the restaurant the only very minor downside to this property. On the number 7 bus route and walkable to the ferry so easy to get to Hamilton, the beaches and various connections. Petrol station just minutes away on foot has coffee, pastries and essential groceries. Entire staff polite and helpful. Gave us a late check out for a small fee so we didn’t have to leave our room before our late flight home. Beach isn’t always accessible but on our last day a small storm changed this. We got down from the ocean pool area onto the beach. If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing stay in beautiful accomodation look no further.
