Bayside Vacation Packages

Our stay at Wildwood Lodge was a terrible experience. Starting from the moment we checked in, we did not receive a warm welcome from receptionist who we later discovered was the manager. The real fun started when my wife woke up in the morning and discovered a bed bug by her head. We also discovered several others including one on the wall that we captured. We brought the captured bug to the same managed that checked us in and she was in denial that it was a bed bug and argued with us that it was a different type of insect. My wife later developed 12+ bites that eventually blistered. We did receive a refund but the manager (Rhonda) was not pleasant to work with and never apologized for our negative experience.

Old time glam with the best continental breakfast I’ve had in a very long time

I booked this place because of the size of the hot tub, most hotels have a small round hot tub. This hot tub was the width of the pool, which was also a decent size. They offer breakfast, have a bar and a few slot machines! So, they have a little bit of everything. There's also a very small snack shop. The room was clean, so I have nothing but a good experience to describe. There's fast food restaurants near by as well.

😊

The entire building as clean. Friendly staff. Breakfast was minimal.

While the room was clean there was no one available at the front desk 24-7. My room was never cleaned during my entire stay, no fresh towels were ever delivered even though there was a door hanger which allowed me to indicate “please make up room”, the trash was never removed during the 7 day stay. As advertised as a bed and breakfast, there was no breakfast provided. I also noticed that my rate doubled for the Friday and Saturday stay and it seemed that the hotel was not even close to being full. I am part of a very large racing community that goes to Road America and I will make sure that racers I know do not consider this hotel.
