Our stay was luvly, right qhere we wanted to be very cl8se to the beach, rooms very comfortable and clean.Rosemary and David are very friendly and helpful. The breakfasts are brilliant, we had something different each day and no complaints from us and the warm lemon drizzle cake was divine.

We have stayed at the Harbour hotel on a number of occasions, as well as many other hotels in the area. The hotel is in a great location, has a pool and spa, and in our opinion is the best hotel in Southampton. That said, the room we were allocated appeared to be an apartment rather than a hotel room. It had a full-sized kitchen, but most appliances had been disabled, but the room had little cupboard space for hanging clothes. As we were staying for 4 days, this was impractical. The room also didn't have a phone, so we had to use our mobile to phone reception.

We had a delightful stay...and a wonderful breakfast. My wife thought the eggs were prepared perfectly.

A band was playing until 11.10pm on Friday night which was above the legal 11pm time limit.. (this was the time I was told this would be the time the band would finish. My room was above the band- so it's worth avoiding that room! It was called “Port” Breakfast was ok other than the mouldly brown bread, I didn't check if the kitchen was clean. Didn't get breakfast on the 2nd morning as I arrived downstairs at 9.15 am - doors all locked up. The room was clean and tidy - staff friendly

Second Nature Southampton is a lovely hotel. The room we had was spacious and clean, with a nicely sized bathroom. It’s not a far walk to Oxford Street, where you can find a collection of good restaurants and pubs. St. Mary’s Stadium, the goal of our trip, was an easy twenty minute walk away. The friendly front desk staff can get a little overwhelmed, as they have to attend to check-ins and the cafe; and if you have an email with your parking confirmation, have it ready, otherwise you may be told to park on the street. Overall, they do their best to accommodate you. So if you’re going to Southampton, Second Chance is a fine choice for lodging.
