Best little secret in Rochester. Incredibly kind management and well maintained. .Shower was hot with good pressure .Bed was comfortable and well made .AC works well and had zero issues 10/10 would recommend if you aren’t set on a refrigerator and a microwave because those are the only things you won’t find at this great spot. If I’m back in this area this is absolutely where I will be staying.

What I didn't like was there was no microwave in the room ,no ironing board the room just wasn't what I expected for a high end hotel I don't plan on staying again for that amount of money

Check in gentleman was rude and unfriendly. Check in time was 3:00 and we arrived at 2:40 after a seven hour drive and he made a comment. Reserved a cot which he told us he didn t have any of those. Room had clogged sink, which the maid attempted to plunge, and it was nasty. She suggested we change rooms. Went to front desk, again , where same gentleman said absolutely nothing. No apologies or statements for our inconvenience. Next day, returned to our room only to find there had been no maid service. No clean towels, no beds made, nothing. Called down to desk and was told we had to "request" maid service. Was never told about having to request what we believed we had already paid dearly for. Was told we had to come down to desk to get our own towels. It was mid afternoon, not midnight. No apologies, nothing. We have been to Rochester many. many times over the years and this stay, by far, was the worst. We would rather sleep in our car than to stay here again!

There are no basic rooms with a refrigerator. This is a very basic amenity that I should not have to go without. The rooms are all spacious and could certainly accommodate one. Present a huge issue for anybody carrying medication or in need of keeping anything refrigerated.

Very well preserved Victorian House. Such a pleasant time we had. My brief remarks to other potential guests are: if you have severe mobility issues, potentially you want to contact the property: the upstairs rooms are accessible through, well, Victorian stairs. My very specific room (suite 2) gets some noise from the road, specially when motorcycles go by. Gets better during the night, but noticeable during the day. Remarks made, I would definitely book again.
