The place is nice and tidy. We like it that the toilets are clean and it doesnt smell. There is also warm baths and the room is clean and well maintained as well.

The environment and facilities were quite family friendly. My grandson was so excited in seeing eels in the stream first time for his life. Please look after them well for children who only saw a picture in their books but not real ones in a stream.

Staff were very helpful with planned late arrival. Instructions were easy to follow and arrival was smooth. The unit is next to a busy road and is very handy to the expressway to Tauranga and Mt Maunganui - which meant finding it was easy. But as a result there was quite a bit of traffic noise. We booked the two bedroom unit with fold-out bed for our 5th family member. The fold-out was broken and when pointed out to the management they said this was normal and all the units had similar fold-outs. We have used fold-outs extensively and this is not normal. As a result our son has aggravated a back spasm so unfortunately we will not be returning to this property.
