There was a little hiccup regarding my reservation however the staff took care of it quickly. I was assured a room and never felt as if the staff felt bothered by the issue. Super friendly and helpful. I hope to stay with you again. Thank you.

Nice clean hotel. Friendly staff and delicious breakfast. Nice to walk out and look at lake Superior. Would recommend if you don't mind paying the nightly premium. Cheaper hotels and some driving would give you the same experience.

Can't say enough good things about our stay. Hotel room was comfortable, staff were courteous and helpful, both pool areas were clean and inviting. Liked having a clock with a usb port for our phones next to the bed. Complimentary beverages in our room's fridge, complimentary s'mores supplies in the evenings, and the best hotel breakfast I've seen in a long, long time. The hotel was very quiet at night, and pleasantly busy during the day. Fitgers, Grandmas, the Aquarium, the boardwalk, and many other attractions were within easy walking distance. We would love to stay here again

Very nice historic hotel with refurbishments to modern appearance
NOT ADA compliant, do not expect ease of mobility. Several stairs with very steep inclines and narrow passages
WIFI is not high speed, limited access and speed within certain areas of hotel. Lobby has limited speed which is best within the hotel

Great location. Walking distance to and from. Awesome view.
Clean room with frig and sink. Loved the fireplace and walkout deck. Pull out sofa bed was not very comfortable to sit or sleep on. Very thin mattress that you can feel the springs. 2 leather chairs weren't very comfortable also. Other then that it was a great place to stay for the weekend.

First time stay here, really enjoyed our stay in early May. We were on the 6th floor which gave us access to the club level extras, i wasn't expecting this perk and was very happy for the upgrade, sandwiches desserts snacks and coffee in the early evening before we set out walking the town and shoreline, then in the morning, French toast sausage cereal croissants and more for breakfast, that save a lot of time and money for us to have this option. The bathroom layout was nice with the French doors, and the beds and linens were comfy. Couldn't quite get the air flow blowing the way we wanted, but not a big deal. For the price and location i would definitely stay here again, why pay about the same for a dumpy motel room that reeks of stale smoke when you can enjoy a comfy bed and large room.
