Adventure Inn
Nice clean room with fridge, microwave and coffeemaker. No lock on the outside entry door, but probably not unusual for a small town. Mostly quiet, but some street noise and some loud walkers on the level above me. Desk clerk very helpful. Nothing that would stop me from coming back.

Black Beach Inn by GrandStay
Upon arrival-my wife and I realized that our room wasn’t facing the Lake. I asked if it was possible to get switched to a room facing the Lake. The staff was quick and accommodating to switch us - GREAT JOB!!!! Thank you Stu Sprecher

Parking is very easy. Staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast offerings are minimal, so plan ahead if you need a hearty one. Coffee is good.

Grand Ely Lodge Resort & Conference Center
Eat at the restaurant at the hotel. It was the best. I’ll never have better north woods biscuits and gravy. Chicken tenders, burgers, fries, ribs, chicken parm were also all so good. It was great.
