My family and I booked our stay at the Hampton Inn in Tulare expecting a clean, comfortable, and relaxing environment. Instead, we were met with severely degraded room conditions and a complete failure to meet basic hospitality standards. The accommodations are in dire need of immediate maintenance and updates. The mattresses are completely worn out to the point where you can feel the individual coils and springs, resulting in violent motion transfer every time someone moves. Unsurprisingly, our entire family suffered a terrible night's sleep. Compounding the issue, the room carries a heavy, unacceptable odor of must and mold, and the carpet is visibly overdue for a deep clean or replacement. In the bathroom, the shower fixture was malfunctioning, requiring nearly 45 minutes of running water just to reach a warm temperature. Overall, the room felt dirty, neglected, and far below what guests should expect for the price charged. The breakfast service was equally disappointing. Attending breakfast at 8:45 AM on a Saturday—peak weekend hours—we were served watery, unappetizing eggs, while key items like potatoes were completely ran out and never replenished. To make matters worse, the staff displayed complete indifference throughout our stay, failing to offer even a basic greeting or polite smile. We are unfortunately forced to endure a second night here, and we are counting down the hours until we can leave and sleep in a proper bed. This experience was a complete waste of money

Loved our stay at Comfort Inn Visalia. Clean, spacious rooms and friendly staff especially the front desk staff. The breakfast was great, and the breakfast attendant did an amazing job keeping everything fresh, full, and spotless. Would definitely stay here again!

Overall the stay was fine. The staff was great and the breakfast was good. The room didn’t seem very clean and it smelled bad. I tried to air it out by opening the window, but it was too hot to do that for too long. I don’t know if the ac smelled or if it was something in the rug, but it smelled a little like wet rag.
