We celebrated our anniversary in Valle and our stay at Mexico en la Piel was the best choice we could’ve made. The hotel is very well located, close to everything, secluded and away from the highway noise. We had breakfast at the restaurant of the hotel and everything was delicious. We even had their dog Totopo follow us around the whole time, even on our morning walk (yes, there is a small trail that gets to a uphill lookout). We definitely recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to spend a few quiet nice days in Valle

The GPS will take you to another house. You want to keep going up the hill to the next house on your left hand side. The actual house for rent is behind in the backyard of a bigger main house. The actual house is small but cozy with lots of outside patio area. Good star glazing at night time. During our stay there was no shampoo nor shower soap. I probably could have asked the owner but I didn't because I had my own. The AC worked well and came in handy on a hot day. The owner was very attentive and easy to get a hold of. She also lives in front where the main house is.

Gated security, door keeper lives in property available immediately if you need anything. House keeping comes in daily to make your bed & clean room. Very friendly and beautiful property/private vineyard & pool. I traveled with my 2 kids for a destination wedding and had not been past the border in 20 years. I was a little afraid of the drive in my sons new Raptor & was pleasantly surprised at the extremely easy, safe drive on the toll roads & beach views thru out the drive on the Pacific Coast Highway. Also had global entry and on our way back to US a 15 minute wait to cross the border! Wow! For sure coming back! Ps: I forgot hair tools and drove back within days and host was very helpful in returning my items.

Overall a great place to stay. Beautiful property and a comfortable bed. I agree with the other reviews regarding the shower issue. There was no water pressure and there was no hot water.

Tuvimos una experiencia excelente en este hotel. El lugar es hermoso, las habitaciones son amplias, cómodas y están muy bien cuidadas, con una vista espectacular al valle. Lo que realmente hizo especial nuestra estancia fue el servicio. Todo el personal fue increíblemente amable, atento y siempre dispuesto a ayudar. Nos hicieron sentir muy bien recibidos desde el momento en que llegamos. La comida también fue excelente. Todo lo que probamos estuvo delicioso, muy bien presentado y con ingredientes de gran calidad. Sin duda, un hotel que combina instalaciones preciosas, excelente atención y una propuesta gastronómica a la altura. Nos encantaría regresar.
