The hallways smelled like wet dog. The outside doors that were marked "do not prop open" were literally all proped open, so anybody could just come into the building. The room was gross, with cobwebs in every corner, a hair stuck to the bathroom door hinges, we both refused to use the shower once we saw the state of the overhead fan, even after over 12 hours in the car. The smoke alarm was hanging halway off the ceiling. Every metal surface in the bathroom was rusted. The bottom of the sink spout was grimy. The lamp next to the bed was super dusty. There was a giant bug in the bathroom. The bed was awful, we both have stiff hips and backs. The pictures must be from another property or just super old because there is absolutely no chance those rooms exist in this hotel

Perfect place to stay when in downtown Detroit, wasn’t the first time and won’t be the last!

The cleanliness of the room was ok, and the staff was very nice. Property looked well maintained. But the key got stuck almost every time I entered the room, there was a huge draft that came through the door, the bed was hard, the pillows were super thin. But for the price, I can forgive that. But there was no hot water in the shower and the heating cooling unit either had it freezing cold or boiling hot, no in between. Not going back.

Hospitality and staff exceeded my expectations

The hosts were friendly and helpful. The facilities were super clean and comfortable. There was even a tiny garden to sit out in the evening. We enjoyed our stay.
