"Nice on the parade route"
Very professional, personable staff made our brief stay pleasurable. We were in the towers part of the hotel, 6th floor, which gave a very nice view of the downtown skyline. However, there was what appeared to be a former terrace area below our window that could have used some post-construction clean up. The bed was very comfortable, and it was nice to see the local fare, pralines, left on our pillow as opposed to the traditional mints. I would definitely recommend the property and stay there again.

"Great for Mardi Gras"
We had a wonderful stay in the city. The hotel is in walking distance to shopping, museums and nightlife. The parades run right in front if the hotel, and there are seats in the grandstands for purchase. The staff was very friendly, and the rooms were a good size.

"Average hotel close to Mardi Gras"
We booked it simply because it was the only option we had left available in the Mardi Gras area in our budget. It's a really shabby kinda hotel. But for a day or two, it wouldn't be so bad. Don't expect things like room service. The fact that the receptionist was behind bullet-proof glass should say something.

"It was Mardi Gras.."
The hotel overall was nice, decor was great! Beautiful marble floors and furniture was cute. We stayed on the 12th floor, our room was nice beds we're comfy. My complaint is the toilet barely wanted to flush, I literally had to go in and attach the chain to the ball on the inside so that the toilet would flush, I did that twice during my 6 day stay. My other complaint is on Brian, he ran around the building pursuing with hotel patrons instead of doing his job, he was very rude and made it known that he was a manger and could do what he wanted. Anytime we called the front desk for something it almost ALWAYS took 30min to an hour to whatever we called for. When buying little snacks downstairs next to the front desk there were no prices on anything and I always got a different total depending on who was working the front desk at the moment. One day a bag of Zapps chips were $2 and the next it was $3, I then had to argue about the price because clearly nobody knows. My total stay was rounded off to $2,000 and it definitely was worth that but it was during Mardi Gras. Another thing that wasn't clear was whether it was necessary to wear wrist bands, one minute they're checking and the next they aren't. We came in late (340 am) from a long night on bourbon and the security guard didn't look at the wrist band, he let us through. So I asked him "hey aren't u gonna check for my wrist band?" And he says "no I was actually checking for other things" WHAT? I expect better from the Hilton.

"Mardi Gras 2016 "
Q&C is within half mile of Canal Street, Harrah's Casino and the French Quarter entertainment district. My only complaint is there are no desk top computers for guest use. Most visitors have lap tops and smart phones so this should not be an issue for the majority of younger guests. The front desk will print a boarding pass from their computer if one is needed.
