Difficult with checking in

We were upgraded to staying at the Victorian Inn- i would highly recommended. The house is charming and located in the historic downtown of Sioux Falls.

Overall the property was nice, clean rooms the light in the bathroom was more like a nightlight and the breakfast was not all that good but overall fine.

Customer service was terrible. When we walked inside to check-in, the employee at the front desk was sitting down with his feet up on the desk and didnt even acknowledge us. After saying Hello to get his attention he eventually acknowledged us and we got checked in. Upon entering the room we found the following issues. The mini fridge did not work and we ended up loosing food during our stay. The small bottle of body soap was half empty. 2 people for 2 nights could not get by with such a small amount. Nevermind the fact that someone else used that body soap. When we approached the same employee mentioned earlier and asked for more body soap, he replied "go to walmart". Completely unacceptable response and behavior. I would not recommend this hotel to my worst enemy.
