Lovely place to stay, rooms were clean and tidy. Staff were so helpful and lovely, they couldn’t help enough. Would definitely stay again

Clean room, friendly staff, pleasant bar, terrace and breakfast area. I prefer a cup/mug for my tea or coffee, and both days these were sparse, although takeaway cups were available.

Great location near busy streets with food and drink options. Ideal for 18 of us on a cricket tour or anyone wanting a weekend socialising or shopping.

We have stayed at this hotel four times now, and unfortunately, each visit seems to be worse than the last. What was once a hotel we enjoyed returning to has become incredibly disappointing. The biggest issue is the value for money. The hotel is significantly overpriced for the standard of the rooms and facilities. The entire property feels very tired and is in desperate need of a full refurbishment. The mattress was absolutely terrible and left both my partner and me with bad backs after our stay. On top of that, there is no air conditioning in the rooms, which made sleeping almost impossible during the recent hot weather. The facilities are equally disappointing. The gym has a noticeable damp smell, making it unpleasant to use, and the executive lounge offers a very poor selection of food and drinks that falls well below what you would expect for the premium price. On a previous visit, we even discovered silverfish in our room. When we reported it to staff, the response was simply, “Thanks for letting us know.” There was no apology, no sense of urgency, and no offer of compensation, which was extremely disappointing. Sadly, this hotel no longer lives up to the price it charges or the standards it should be delivering. Unless significant investment is made in upgrading the rooms, improving the facilities, and enhancing customer service, we won’t be returning.

Father’s Day but not enough staff! The food was excellent in the restaurant but we ate early evening & there were a lot of dishes sold out. The staff were all lovely but just not enough of them. Some areas needed a little TLC but overall lovely

Absolutely loved my stay here. The facilities and the location are both spectacular. All staff members were just brilliant. A particular 'shout out' to Sasha and John in the restaurant, Steak at Six. Thank you for taking such good care of me and my friends. We all had a fantastic time: Thank you. You are awesome at what you do.
