"Comfortable, Convenient Stay In Charleston, SC"
The King Charles Inn is located on Meeting Street, making it a cinch to get to from I-26. The historic building has registration parking within just a few steps to the Courteous and Knowledgeable Front Desk staff. Check in is a breeze and you'll then be able to park on the property (no extra charge). The rooms are clean and well appointed. The style reflects the historical side of the Inn, but only in the best ways. We found the lighting excellent, our view perfect and the beds comfortable. There is an on site pool, and cafe, but business prevented my taking advantage of either, I was able, however, to walk to one of Charleston's two most popular restaurants. There is even a real, honest to Brooklyn Deli just a few steps away! Oye, such a deal! The historic area and French Quarter is within walking distance, and if you're in town for the superb health care facilities, The Medical University of South Carolina's campus is a very short ride. MUSC, by the way, provides some of the best advanced medical services on the East Coast, rivaling Johns Hopkins, Northwestern, and the Mayo Clinic.

"Great location"
This hotel is just 10 minutes away from downtown Charleston. There are 2 gas stations (maybe more... not sure) within 5-10 minute drive from the hotel, and plenty of grocery stores and general stores (CVS, Walgreens, etc.) nearby. This locations does not have dining services, and only premium rooms over fridges (which I didn't know, but I didn't research it all that much prior to going). The only truly negative thing I have to say is that the housekeeping wasn't that great. There was one time when they had obviously been in the room because the beds were made up, but they did not restock us with towels, toilet paper, soap, or tissues. It was also quite obvious that they did not clean the sheets after each night (maybe I'm spoiled, but I like clean sheets).

"This place is a fabulous getaway!!! "
We wanted access to Charleston but the feel of a resort and we got it!!! You have access to the Beach Club next door which practically connects to this one... great pools, friendly staff and nice rooms. We had a room with a view of the harbor and the pool and I wouldn't have it any other way!!!! The kids club is adorable... Megan seemed out our kids and took them for a walk on the pier.. and did a craft with them... gave Mom and Dad a little time to relax by the pool... I would come back here again in a heartbeat!!!!!

"Location, Class, Comfort"
We splurged on a one night stay at the HarbourView Inn and it was well worth it. It is in the perfect location - out of the way of traffic (cars and pedestrians) and is located right on the harbor. Quick walk to all major Charleston restaurants, shopping, sightseeing. Customer service is spot on, they greet you with a drink which is such a nice treat after a travel day.

"Beautiful hotel in downtown Charleston"
The Dewberry Hotel was not only beautiful and very classically styled, but the staff was incredibly kind and helpful. We rented out bikes from the hotel everyday and it made traveling around the city very easy. The rooms are decorated very nicely and the accommodations were more than expected. I can't wait to go back!

Sullivans Island is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Sullivans Island, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Sullivans Island hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
