Great stay at the Andrew Pinkney Inn. Rooms were clean with nice decor and bathroom. We made a mistake and upgraded to the townhouse which had a sofa bed. This was not comfortable at all and squeaked every time you moved in bed which was not conducive to a good night's sleep. In hindsight we should have stuck with a 2x double room, which I'm sure would have been a better option. It was good to have breakfast included and the food on offer - and the room it was served in - was excellent

Excellent Hotel

I enjoyed my stay very much. The hotel is beautiful and perfectly situated in walking distance to the City Market. The complimentary breakfast was excellent. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean and updated. Very nice and I would stay here again. I rated comfort 4 stars for one reason alone - I took 2 showers while I was there and neither time was I able to get the water to warm up to barely above freezing. I like hot showers and thoroughly hated both showers because the water would not warm up no longer how long I left it running. To be fair, I was there on business and only stayed one night, so I did not take the time to report the issue to the front desk. The staff was very friendly and helpful, so they probably would have at least tried to correct the issue if I brought it to their attention at the time I was there.

Everything thing overall was excellent all but one of the staff were so friendly and helpful. Especially the woman running the wine and cheese hour. The room was clean and beautiful but the Beth room was ridiculously small. All that being sad the overall stay exceeded expectation and it was a great location to see Charleston.

The room was beautiful, and the breakfast overlooking Charleston was one of the best parts! The bed was THE COMFIEST bed I’ve ever slept in!! The sheets were so lush and cozy! We loved our stay!

Our Sierra truck was blocked in when we tried to leave the valet parking lot at 5 a.m. for a surgery appointment at MUSC. The concierge on call did a great job! She did everything she possibly could and even had to get a man out of bed to move his vehicle. It was not his vehicle that was blocking us in, but by him moving it, it gave us space to pull out. The concierge said the Manager would make it up to us. Have not yet heard from Manager. Other than that, the stay was pleasant.

This is the second time staying here and this is a nice charming hotel just north of the hustle of the French Quarter. My only complaint was the a/c in 301 did not appear to cool to the desired temp. Great breakfast .I will stay again

Found the room to be very clean and quite nice despite the lower cost. The valet option was also great and affordable, especially when compared to the paid parking lots around the area. The inn was also in an amazing location, we walked everywhere we needed to go and was able to explore the city and come back still feeling safe.

This property is right in the heart of Old Town/French Quarter. Super close to the market, the pier, the Pineapple fountain and fun bars/restaurants 1 to 3 blocks away. Do the Valet parking, so worth it. Would stay again.

Perfect location enables you to be within walking distance of everything. The location allows easy access to come back and freshen up before heading out for the evening. Beautiful and clean inn with historic charm and modern amenities. Uber comfortable beds and the term “continental breakfast “ does not begin to describe the wonderful spread they put on each morning. Staff is helpful, attentive and yet not in your face. Completely added to the amazing experience we had in Charleston. Looking forward to staying at the Andrew Pickney Inn on our next visit to Charleston- which is hopefully very soon.
