South Island Vacation Packages

Great motel close to shops and restaurants. The room was clean and had many useful amenities such as a fridge, kettle, microwave, toaster and hob. Parking was also included and was close to the room which was convenient. Staff behind the reception were very friendly and helpful. I can't fault this motel and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Christchurch. Thanks for a fantastic stay!

Great hosts great location

Spire Hotel was an absolute delight! The location is fantastic, catering to both city dwellers and outdoor enthusiasts. The room was superb, offering a beautiful view, comfort, and cleanliness. The breakfast was simply amazing, and the staff treated us with exceptional personal attention and genuine friendliness.

We had to wait half an hour coz they couldn’t find our booking, later realised their mistake and asked us to take another room because they had miss allocated. We agreed as they had upgraded us from two bedrooms to an apartment however upon moving we noticed it was a run down apartment with no aircon. Staff was great and acknowledged the mistake, gave us better accommodation the next day but overall the property is old and not worth the money unless you’re in the Lakeview apartment which has great views.

Very quiet location close to Queenstown central . Room was serviced to a high standard , restaurant staff lovely . Breakfast is expensive but had on last day and was not disappointed. Only downside encountered was it was park where you like so if you weren’t in car park late afternoon early evening often no parks left in complex . We stayed in a 2 bed room, good size , large shower space but bathroom on the small side. Overall great stay and would recommend.

We stayed in a 3 bedroom villa. First thing u need to know is the 3rd bedroom downstairs has a single bed. This threw things out for us as our youngest didn't want to sleep downstairs on her own, so our giant teenager had to have a single bed while the younger child had a double bed all to themselves. Knowing the layout would have changed my decision. The downstairs of the villa was freezing, the air con wasn't working properly. How a property doesn't have proper heating in the NZ winter is beyond me. We asked for it to be fixed, they brought over some small heaters. That warmed it up, housekeeping them took them away the following day. Housekeeping was so hit and miss. Some days they replaced a couple of towels, others all, other just took out the rubbish etc. Kitchen not properly stocked made it hard to cook. Villa 53 car park is not in front of the unit. Such a bizarre set up.
