"Some things are intangible!"
While initially disappointed in age/lack of updates, we found the bed (two couples each said same!) to be amazingly comfortable. (We even tried to look to see what kind of mattress...) Rooms are large, but could use lighting and furniture updates. Don't like florescents, but maybe it's a law... HOWEVER, very quiet inside, and STAFF was most accomodating when we asked for plates/utensils to take a snack to the pool or upstairs table/lounging area. Enjoyed the pool and hottub which were very clean. LOCATION is excellent for enjoying both Napa and Sonoma area and in downtown Santa Rosa, just a few minutes away, we found excellent food. Hotel restaurant had nice breakfast and attentive staff. Bar on Friday night was fun, but closed by 10 on Thursday. Having a wine opener in the room was nice touch.

"Clean & Modern"
This place is well kept. The room we stayed in was exactly like the pictures. It was affordable as well and I will definitely stay here again if I'm in the area.

"Expensive but Nice"
This is a nice property, but it is over-priced. The rooms are beginning to look dated, so even though they were mostly clean, they did not have a clean feel. The service staff was outstanding. We had a dinner on property also and we were not disappointed.

"Quiet Location "
This property is possibly past it's best years but it appears to be managed well. Courteous check-in staff and easy access to our room. It's a two story property so be sure to request a ground floor if you're unable to haul your luggage up stairs. The room decor was modern in gray tones. A pleasant change from most hotels we frequent. King bed was very comfortable and our room on a back wing was very quiet.

"A lovely find"
I was very weary after traveling from Portland, Maine to the Sonoma region and knew I just needed a good night of rest. When I drove up, I noticed that even though the property was just off the road, it was very private. I walked into the office and was greeted by a lovely and helpful woman. After completing the paperwork, she showed me to my cottage. The common areas of this place are very quiet and the grounds were well kept. I wish the weather were nicer as it would have been lovely to sit outside. The cottage I stayed in was very clean and comfortable. The cottages are about a mile from downtown Guerneville and there was a brew pub within walking distance. Continental breakfast in the morning. All in all a wonderful experience!

"Comfortable and convenient."
Our stay was overall pleasant . The staff were helpful and we were given early access to a room. Breakfast was satisfying and the pool was appreciated after a hot day travelling in wine country. The location made it easy to come and go as we toured and found restaurants. Also there is plenty of shopping nearby. Not far from San Francisco too! I would recommend it if an economical clean hotel is what you want.

"Friendly and helpful staff"
We booked last minute during a very busy wedding weekend at the Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn. Parking was packed so they gave us free valet parking. When the shuttle to the Sonoma Plaza was not available, they paid our cab! Lovely pool, nice room, pricey room service, but really phenomenal staff. I love this place!

Sonoma Valley is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Sonoma Valley, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Sonoma Valley hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
